    Why are women often seen as fanatic shoppers?

    This is a cliche', yet with some amount of truth. Why do you think it is females who are often criticized for being fanatic shoppers? We just take a little extra time to go through things of their choice and make a good decision. Right? Er...Wrong? smile

    because way too many of them are. i have friends who's wives can spend hours looking for one pair of shoes or a dress. it blows my mind.friends of mine just went to Toronto because his wife didn't like the choices of dresses here in my home town. i can't wait to see what this cost.

    I can't speak for all women, but I can tell you that my wife LOVES shopping. She has no problem spending an entire day at the mall looking for just one specific item.  However, it must be noted here that some guys are the same way when it comes to things like gadgets or tools.  For me though, I tend to do some research upfront and then spend as little time as possible in the stores.
