   What is the best organic shampoo and conditioner?
   
   I have tried a couple of different brands of organic shampoo and conditioner and didn't really like the results.  My hair is full of tangles and doesn't feel sleek and conditioned the way it does with "normal" hair products.  Is there a brand of organic hair products (especially conditioner) that works well?

   well, what I find that works for me that is organic is Shea Moisture's brand of products, especially their Organic Yucca & Baobab Volumizing Conditioner w/ Biotin and Bamboo Extract, to me the conditioner is not to heavy and it has great slip, which helps when detangling your hair. It has a nice scent to it that is not too strong at all, it also leaves my hair feeling soft & moisturized, but i would suggest identifying the type of hair you have, whether its thick, thin, coarse, dry, naturally curly, wavy, kinky, or straight & also identifying what products, organic or not, work best for it and try it.

      I also use Shea Moisture and even wrote a hub about a couple of their products I really like. Many of Arbonne's products are not organic and they didn't list ingredients the last time I checked their website (admittedly a long time ago).

   After using whichever shampoo you find, rinse your hair with 1/4 cup of white vinegar.  It will detangle your hair and remove all of the soap scum.  No need to rinse it off.  Just towel dry.  It will not smell like vinegar when it dries.

   I use Arbonne's personal care products, including their shampoo and conditioner. They are amazing! They have a hair mask that is a deep conditioner that I usually use once a week or so. I highly recommend them!

   I stopped using shampoo and conditioner about 7 years ago after getting tired of the built-ups and hair loss.  I have been using Dove bar soap (the white one works best) ever since to clean myself from head to toes.  It works wonder.  Every time after I wash my hair, I would flip my hair as I bend down to touch my toes for about 10 times.  It helps get rid of the excess water and untangle the hair.  I don't even need to brush my hair after that.  My hair feels soft and clean.  Well, as you can tell from my picture, my hair is straight, so I am not sure if it'll work the same for curly hair.

   giovanni has a nice line of products, so does aubrey organics. unfortunately I found this out through trial and error. Hover I can say with confidence based on experience, that gioavanni products and aubrey organics both work well, and once you find the brand, you will want to try a variety within either one of those product lines that work best for your particular hair needs.

   I would try Live Clean's shampoos and conditioners.  No sulfates.  Vegan products.  Works great.  My daughter has thick, curly, tangled, course hair and I use their argan line.  Works wonders.

   I love peppermint so I had to give the Made from Earth organic “Tea Tree Shampoo” and “Peppermint Conditioner” a try. I’ve used Castille soaps before and never really loved the distinct smell they have.

   The best organic shampoo and conditioners I have used are:
   
   Nature's Gate (vegan and cruelty free) - around $5
   Giovanni (does not contain sulfates or silicone's) - around $7 or $8
   
   All of the above can be found at Hannaford's in the organic section.

    Hmmm.... Iguess it's the shampoo that I created in our own home, that have the ability to prevent dandruff because it has the capability of stopping the spread of M.furfur that causes dandruff.

    My hair was also very dry and frizzy before. But then started to use homemade hair pack ( Egg + Lemon juice). And it gave me very good result.

    I would love to answer that! The best ever natural shampoo and conditioner and treatments is an Italian product called, "Naturelmente". I don't think you can find it easily, but it's very good.

    You can get shampoo and conditioner from some Oxfam shops these days, along with other hygine products, which are cruelty free, organic and good for the enviroment!

    I typically choose between Giovanni, Shea Moisture, and sometimes Burt's Bees. While Burt's Bees is not 100% natural, it's better than many products that you might find at most stores when you don't have time to go to Whole Foods or other places to get the real deal. The fewer chemicals we expose ourselves to, the better.

    I read some of these answers to find what might work best for my color treated hair which becomes tangled with most of the conditioners I have tried.  Thanks for asking the question.  It would be great to read a few more responses. I tried the creamy dove soap bar idea.  It actually was better than most products but I believe there is a better answer.
