I'm a lady and have known this for many years. This is why I only use lipsticks/lip balms, toothpastes, body lotions, soaps, fragrances that are all natural and have done so for years. It costs more but I'd rather pay more at the counter now than pay for it with my health and wallet times one thousand later. I am also very allergic to some of the man made garbage that these products are made with.
It still surprises me that so many people don't understand why women are still diagnosed with cancers and heart problems when compared to men. Look at all that stuff she's using to beautify and slowly kill herself with day in and out. These days, even toddlers are using chemical laden lipbalms and glosses.
So many people are uninformed about all the chemicals in the foods and products they use every single day. Men can be affected as well. Chemicals are stored in our body fat as well as our internal organs and while I would suspect that the man's issues would be less than the woman's due to him getting second hand exposure to her lipstick/gloss/balms, it's still possible as problems from chemical exposures are very often of a cumulative nature. Don't even get me started on fragrances/perfumes/body sprays.
