Why do socks not have labels?


Every form of clothing, has labels telling you the size and brand - but socks do not. I am constantly mixing up my socks, are you?

    If we did invent the label ourselves we would have to make sure that it did not wash off.

    I bought Hanes that have the name sewn in but they do not have the size or fabric.

    I have had only one set of socks which I bought that had the name woven in. Those are Hanes. As for the carboard size card, that has to be taken out when they are washed - what do you do then? The co.'s could dye the letters into the fabric, like
