   How long does it usually take for you to dry your hair?
   
   Wondering what kind of watt dryer I would need and if there are any techniques to make my hair dry faster.

   it depends, if you are using a good hair dryer, maybe ten minutes and if you are letting it dry in air, maybe an hour, depending on the thickness of your hair.

   It depends on a lot of factors... When I was a teenager and would blow dry my hair, it would take up to thirty minutes. (I had long thick hair).  Then since college, I've had about medium length hair, still thick obviously, and when I get out the shower, I let it air dry while I brush teeth, put on make-up, get dressed.  Then I use a straightener that both straightens and dries hair, and with that, it takes around 25 minutes.  But I love it.

   Dividing your hair into sections and then blow drying the sections individually can help speed up the drying process. It will take more time in the beginning but once you have a routine of sectioning your hair it will go a lot faster. After you've sectioned off your hair you can use a round ceramic brush while you blow dry. I'm suggesting a ceramic brush because the inside will heat up and help dry the bottom side of your hair faster. Hope this helps and happy hubbing!

   I wash mine before bed and let it dry over night, then I can just straighten it in the morning if I like. Or if I'm going out in the evening wash it in the morning and let it sun-dry during the day. This helps with frizz too, it's not as fly away as a blow dryer makes it.  I'm not a fan of the blow dryer, even the Ceramic takes so long my arm muscles get sore. I've never timed it, but so it's annoying! I have long thick hair and I'll only blow dry if I really need to, to get ready to go outsomewhere on time.

   In the summer time, I let my hair just dry in the air.  I know a lot of people don't like that.  However, it is so hot where I live it dries really fast ~ 30 mins.  If I blow dry, it takes about 10 to 15.  My dryer is very old and need a new one.  My hair is really thick so I dry it out in sections ~ seems to go faster that way.
