    i want to get a tattoo its my first...any ideas?

    im a guy and on my forearm i was thinking "there is no fate but what we make for ourselves" OR "no temo destino"  and on my back shoulder i was thinking "without struggle there is no strength" which sounds good for the forearm and does the shoulder one sound good or can you think of a better short quote like that?

    If I would spend money for a tattoo, then the result should be art and not just a sentence. I have a friend who has tattooed an ancient Maya pattern over his shoulder blades. Timeless. Beautiful. Art.

    I would say don't do it yet.  Wait for at least one year and think about what you want it to represent.  You'll change your mind many times, which may mean you are not ready for something so permanent yet.

    I will alway say go with something that means a lot to you. As long as you like it and do it for yourself then you will enjoy looking at it forever.
