Why Purchase A Batman Snuggie?...Freedom
Here it is in all of it's glory...the Batman Snuggie. I want you to really analyze this picture. Look at the room. Look at the man. Now put yourself in that room and put yourself not in that man's shoes, but, in his snuggie. His Batman Snuggie to be exact. Look at his hands. Are they trapped? No. Total freedom. Is he shivering? Negative. He looks very warm. I would even go so far as to say...toasty. Where is the remote in this picture? On the armrest? Hiding under his blanket with his imprisoned hands? No...the remote is in his bare hand, pointing toward the television ready to crank the volume or change the channel because he has total use of his arms, thanks to the ingenious design by the miracle workers at Snuggie. He might even be watching a show that he likes at the proper volume, but he won't put the remote down because he has the freedom not to. That is what the Batman Snuggie is all about. Freedom, warmth, security.
The Batman Snuggie is perhaps the greatest achievement in fashion since the dickey.— Me

A Brief History Of Batman
Now that you have purchased a Batman Snuggie, we might as well learn a little bit about Batman. Who is Batman...what makes him tick?
It all started in 1939. Bob Kane was the artist. Bill Finger was the writer. The proverbial Batman and Robin. I can imagine their conversation went something...like this:
Kane: "Hey Bill, I draw bats...really, really well."
Finger: "Well isn't that a coincidence. Because I am the GREATEST bat writer in the WESTERN HEMISPHERE!."
Kane: "Bill...are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Finger: "That my name, Bill Finger, is the GREATEST name that you have ever heard in your entire life?"
Kane: "Yes Bill that is exactly what I was thinking."
Kane: "But you know what else Bill, what if we combined our rare talents to create an amazing super hero comic book for generations to enjoy?"
Finger: "I'm in. I know we will succeed because I have more writing chops in my little Finger than the guy who writes those terrible Superman comics has in his entire body!"
Kane: "I get it...Finger joke. Good one."
After this amazing conversation between the talented Mr. Kane and Mr. Finger, the Batman Comic was born. May 1939 was when Detective Comics, better known as DC Comics to modern society, unveiled the first Batman comic titled "The Case of the Chemical Syndicate". It was all down hill from there as the superhero we know as Batman, The Caped Crusader, The Dark Knight and the World's Greatest Detective became a household name to young and old alike. As the Batman comics gained in notoriety, the authors introduced new villains to test the strength of the Caped Crusader including his most famous foe, Joker.
Since 1939, Batman has been displayed to the world through comics, radio, television shows and movies. Batman has been played on screen by numerous actors over the years including Lewis Wilson, Robert Lowery, Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale and Ben Affleck. In 2011, Batman finished number 2 on IGN's Top 100 Comic Book Heroes of All Time and also finished number 2 on Empire's Top 50 Comic Book Heroes of all time. Superman was #1 in both contests. No wonder they don't like each other.

The Dark Knight Snuggie-The Intimidation Factor
If the first Batman Snuggie isn't your style, than maybe this Dark Knight version floats your boat a little bit more. Here's what I can tell you about this version of the Batman Snuggie. It's just as comfortable as the other one, just as convenient, just as much ability to walk, talk, change the channel, shoot hoops or raise the roof with. I would say the main difference is...the intimidation factor. Look at that face. Look at that stance. If someone broke into your house late at night while you were watching Blue Bloods on CBS, I am certain they would retreat at the first sight of your stately presence. Without the hood on you look like a dork in a batman blanky. With the hood on...the image of death to anyone who dares mess with you. Once again the Batman Snuggie comes down to three things: Freedom. Warmth. Security.
