JASON Dandruff Relief: The Best Dandruff Shampoo Ever

Updated on August 30, 2017

JASON Natural Cosmetics DANDRUFF RELIEF Shampoo: The Best Dandruff Shampoo on the Market

JASON Dandruff Relief Shampoo is an all-natural shampoo that works better at eliminating and preventing dandruff and dry, itchy scalp than any other all-natural or non-all-natural shampoo I've tried (and I've tried A LOT of them). It uses an extra-mild, all natural combination of FDA compliant dandruff-control ingredients to fight and prevent dandruff and a special combination of essential oils to heal, soothe, and moisturize the scalp. At a time when the flaking was at its worst and I could literally see snow when I rubbed my head, JASON Dandruff Relief Shampoo cut the itching and flaking by about 85% after just one use and by 100% after three uses. Two months later I haven't had a single flake or itch.

It has an herbal and slightly minty scent. I've read several reviews that call the scent "medicinal" and "unpleasant" but I disagree. Some people relate the smell of herbal remedies as medicinal, and I am almost sure this is what they are referring too. The shampoo has a light scent, though the scent does stay in your hair a long time. However, I've found that when I use a scented conditioner the conditioner scent nearly masks the shampoo scent. If you still do not like the scent, a few drops of pure vanilla cuts the aroma at least by half (in fact, this works with many chemicals, too, such as paint).

It's a creamy shampoo that, like so many other natural products, doesn't bubble and lather in the same way secular shampoos do, but I got used to this after a few uses. In fact, I was comforted by the fact that I knew it wasn't stripping away oils like I understand pretty much all lathering shampoos to do.

Furthermore, JASON Dandruff Relief Shampoo makes my hair extremely soft and shiny. I find myself touching my long hair during the day just to feel how soft it is. It's a great shampoo for dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis relief and for those wanting great, soft, shiny, healthy hair!

@anonymous: Good to know. Also good to know that they removed some of these ingredients. As of 4-6-13 I haven't yet taken a new picture of the label to upload, though.

What's your name? You sound like you know what you're talking about but how do I know if you won't even give your name?

This is not a natural shampoo. Here are just a few examples of synthetic chemicals used in this shampoo: Tetrasodium EDTA is a preservative (chelator) thatâs made from the known carcinogen formaldehyde and cyanide, and does not readily biodegrade in the environment. PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, and PEG-150 Distearate unless vacuum stripped, are contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, which has been identified as a probable human carcinogen by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a synthetic surfactant made by combining chloroacetic acid with the amide derived from dimethylaminopropylamine and lauric acid (lauric acid may be obtained from coconut oil, but that doesn't make Cocamidopropyl Betaine a natural compound). Like most personal care products out there, the "Natural" claim can be misleading.

Hello fantastic blog! Does running a blog similar to this require a massive amount work? I have no understanding of coding but I had been hoping to start my own blog soon.

Helpful review. I've heard a lot of good things about JASON products, though they are not so easy to find over here in the UK.
