Best Fake Eyelashes

Updated on August 15, 2013

Looking For The Best Fake Eyelashes?

If you want a dramatic, sexy look then take a look at some of the options below.

You can spend a fortune of fake eyelashes, but I have searched and found the the best fake eyelashes that won't break your budget but will give you the look that you want and at a price that you can afford.

I love fake lashes and I am always receiving compliments about my eyes and my lashes, I personally like to wear a variety of different fake lashes depending on my mood and the occasion so I have listed below a great selection of the best fake lashes that will suit just about every situation.

Best Fake Eyelashes That I Have Found

Below are some of the best fake eyelashes that I have found and they are all great value for money too.

Important Tip

Do a trial run before using false lashes for the first time!!

The last thing you want to be doing is stressing out over putting lashes on 30 minutes before you are due to go out for a big night!

How To Apply Fake Eyelashes

You Will Need:

Your Fake eyelashes

Eyelash Glue

Lash Applicator

Small Tweezers

A Pair Of Small Scissors

Some Tissues

A Few Q-Tips

Get all of your tools together and put your false eyelashes in front of you according to which eye they go on, now start:

Begin with your left eye and put the false lash around your eyelid to measure the length. Trim the lash if it seems like the lashes are going to be very long as you need the false lash to fit with your existing eyelashes and not extending past your natural lash-line!

Next put the eyelash glue directly to the eyelashes. You can do this directly out of the tube, using your finger or with a Q-Tip - whichever you feel more comfy using. And then wait a couple of seconds and lightly blow on the adhesive.

Apply the eyelashes right now to your eye right after the adhesive is really tacky (definitely not liquid). Starting from the outside, place the eyelashes as low as you can on your eyelid - as near as possible to your normal lash-line. This is the trick - as low as you can! Keep placing your eyelashes as low as you can working your way from the outside to the inside of your eye.

Once your eyelashes are in the right place (open your eye just to make certain there is no gap) then run your finger along your eyelashes, making sure they're attached on just like a sticker.

If you feel you want to, you can mix the eyelashes with some black or dark brown eye shadow to soften the line. As well, if you want you can follow up using more mascara but typically its not required.

Now follow the same process with your other eye. Take your time and don't panic - just always keep working with the eyelashes.

You can apply eyelashes just before or after your full make-up. I prefer to do it right after as I think applying eyeliner, eye shadow and mascara is much more challenging when your false eyelashes are on but this is totally up to you.

GrandeLASH MD Eyelash and Eyebrow Enhancer for Length, Fullness, and Darkness

If you have been using fake eyelashes for some time you might find that you lose some of your natural lashes when you remove the fake lashes.

I have found that Grandelash is great for getting your eyelahses (and eyebrows) to regrow, and usually they regrow thicker and longer than they were before!

After using GrandeLASH I have had strangers come up to me asking me what I do with my eyes, or how stunning my eye are - so I highly recommend it!

I like your instruction on how to place these. I find it a bit difficult before so I just avoided using them.
