Boots are absolutely essential for winter, not to mention they are very chic as well. Every girl should have at least a few different styles of boots in her closet. It will match with lots of different clothes for the winter and make your feet look very stylish at the same time. This hub is all about different boot styles, how to wear it and what body types they flatter.

Booties – Ankle boots that are at your ankles are called booties. These boots are very popular and stylish. You should select a pair of black booties so that it will match all of your clothes. For short women, you can pair black booties with black tights to make your legs look longer. Taller women have an easier time with other colors because their legs don't need much elongation.

Ugg boots – Ugg boots are around for a while now. They are still very popular and will keep you feet very warm. There are several different styles of ugg boots in which you can choose from. Different styles tend to work on different body types. Classic tall boots tend to work better on taller women while classic short boots flatter shorter woman. High heel stilettos boots – These are very sexy and can be paired with a knee length skirt in the winter. It will not only look stylish but also keep you very warm. Because of the shape of the high heel stilettos boots, you need to have skinny calves to pull it off. Those with muscular / larger calves should stay away from high heel stiletto boots. This kind of boots highlight the shape of the calves and oversized calves would look awkward in these.

Riding boots – The riding boots are very versatile and tend to work on many outfits. It has a little bit of classic cowboy boots look. Again, riding boots tend to flatter taller woman because it visually cuts the legs in half. Those that are shorter that want to wear these boots should select a pair of pants that are similar colors to the riding boots. The top should be short or tucked in the pants to emphasize the legs.

Over the knee boots – Over the knee boots tend to be a little bit difficult to wear. In general, short women should not attempt this. It will overwhelm your figure easily. If not wore right, it can make you look inappropriate. However, you can still look sexy and tasteful by pairing the over the knee boots with similar colored tights and a short skirt. After that, you should complete the whole look with a motorcycle jacket to look even more sharper.

Suede slouchy boots – These boots usually have no heels and are very comfortable. Every woman should get a pair of these boots because it is very flattering for most women.

Fringed minnetonka boots – These boots are very causal and will look amazing with some skinny jeans. They will look great for everyone and fit almost all body types. A pair of fringed minnestonka boots are a must for every woman because of its great looks, comfort and versatility.
