5 budget conscious outfits for every occasion

Updated on December 17, 2012

Fashion can be very expensive; this is especially true when you like to shop at lots of mid to high end department stores. Fortunately, there are lots of pieces that are cute and relatively inexpensive. This hub utilizes pieces that are under one hundred dollars to create outfits for every occasion. These combinations flatter a variety of different body types. Hope you will find these ideas helpful.

Work outfit for semi-professional environment – Lots of workplaces have a semi-professional dress code. This outfit is specifically designed for women in their twenty's and thirty's. The beige color dress is a very good piece because of its neutral color and somewhat conservative cut. The leopard print pumps add style and a little bit of edge to the whole look. A bright blue bag is a pop of color for the whole outfit. Overall, this outfit is suitable for spring and summer seasons.

Punk meets sweet – This adorable dress is very feminine because of its color and floral print. However, I added the fishnet tights and gold metallic trimmed booties for a more interesting and edgier look. The tan color outerwear adds warmth to the whole look and makes this suitable for fall / winter. However, this outfit is great for spring and summer when you don't wear the coat. I would recommend this combination for dates, outings with girlfriends and other fun activities.

Conservative outfit for interviews and serious work environments – This outfit is very professional and suitable for serious work environments like corporate settings. The gray and black shirt is feminine and conservative. The beige blazer will make sure you stay warm in air conditioned office. The black wedges are great for all day standing and walking. In general, wedges that are two inches in height are very comfortable. This outfit is functional, conservative, classy and stylish.

Feminine meets edgy combat boots – In the world of fashion, combat boots are extremely popular with fashion bloggers and stylists. Traditionally, these boots are for men hence the name. However, women are beginning to mix masculine pieces with feminine pieces for a ultra chic look. This is a causal outfit great for all occasions. The floral shirt is long and covers your behind. I picked out a pair of black leggings with the combat boots because same color scheme makes the legs look longer. I completed the look with a pair of feather earrings.

Chiffon dress and high heel sandals for summer – This is a great look for spring and summer. The floral dress is soft, flowy and flattering for most body types. The tan color high heel sandals will elongate your legs. The whole outfit is completed with neutral colors and suitable for women of all ages. I completed this look with a pair of heart shaped sunglasses for a even more feminine look.
