Comfy Slippers

Updated on November 22, 2014

Comfy Slippers make your feet jump for Glee

There is nothing better than sliding your tired feet into a pair of warm and comfy slippers at the end of a hard day. You know those cute pink fuzzy bunny slippers; well deep down we would all like to own a pair. However, childish they may seem they are sure to put a smile on your face when you slip them on. Lucky for you if you are not a pink fuzzy bunny slipper kind of person, there are so many styles and materials available for slippers today. It is literally enough to make your head spin. Just remember the most important option your slippers should have is comfort and next is warmth; you will want to keep those toes toasty and warm.

Slippers make a great gift. The sizing is usually generous making it an easy gift option for that special someone on your list. Who would not want a pair of comfy slippers?

While slippers are mostly worn inside of your house, some manufacturers have added rubber soles to the bottom of the slippers so you can take this comfort with you on the go. Probably not the best fashion statement to make and I would definitely advise you against wearing them to work even on casual Fridays. However, It is a nice option to throw your slippers on and run to the grocery store, pick up kids or whatever.

There simply is nothing better then a pair of comfy slippers.

Shearling, Boiled Wool or Spa Style Slippers

How to Choose

The Shearling or Sheepskin style are by far the most popular choice today. The look of this style is definitely on the hot list. Your foot is wrapped in Super Soft Sheepskin which is; oh so yummy.

Consider the following:First choose the material or look which you prefer the most.

Consider what months you will want to wear your slippers, as well as; the temperature and/or climate in which you live. The Spa Style is an excellent choice for warmer climates.

While the Shearling Sheepskin styles are the top choice for a colder weather.

The Classic Boiled Wool style slippers will work in either type of climate making them the most versatile style slipper listed above.

Another important factor when deciding on your perfect slipper is to consider what type of sole you would prefer. Would you like the flexibility to run out to get the mail in your slippers and not have to worry about damaging the soles due to wetness or dirt. If so you should consider a rubber type sole.

The convenience of the slide-on styles make it so easy and inviting to pop your feet right into your comfy slippers. Look for a non-slip sole for safety purposes and most importantly a contoured foot bed for pure comfort.

A pair of slippers is like a best friend, they will be the first thing you seek as soon as you get home. You will slide your feet into the comfy and cozy shoe and feel your troubles melt away. Who ever said diamonds are a girls best friend, because I think it is a pair of comfy slippers.
