What are the three most popular designer handbag purse brands for women

Updated on February 4, 2013

If you have a special woman in your life and want to get her something nice, handbags are one of the most popular items with women. Every woman loves a pretty designer handbag and your gift will make her very happy. But for a guy that knows nothing about designer purses, it is somewhat difficult to choose the right one for you special lady. This hub will help you find the perfect bag for her.

This article helps you understand woman's love for handbags. I am going to talk about three of the most popular brands and their respective signature or classic bags.

One of the most popular brands with women is called Coach. This is an American designer that most women know about and want to have at least one in their closets. A classic Coach has the “C” logos on the canvas and is very durable. Most Coach bags are priced from $250 to $800. For ladies that love leather and retro styling, items from the Coach classics collection are perfect for them.

Louis Vuitton is a French fashion house that is known for fine leather goods such as handbags and luggage. The Speedy is their most well known design that most women recognize instantly. It has been made by the fashion house for many years and it’s becoming a classic that will always be in style. It comes in a variety of sizes, colors and material. The basic speedy is about $750 and the leather ones are around $1000.

The Chanel fashion house is one of the most influential in the fashion world with endorsements from many top celebrities. The most loved and signature item is the Chanel classic flap. This bag comes in different colors and sizes to fit everyone's lifestyle. It has been around since 1955 and is an item that never goes out of style. However, this bag is pretty expensive, expect to pay at least $3500 for the smallest size.
