DIY Beauty Products Packaging

Updated on March 27, 2015

Packaging for Homemade Beauty Products

I prefer to give homemade gifts whenever possible. The challenge when gifting natural beauty products can be in the presentation. Beauty gifts made at home are twice as charming when the exterior packaging compliments the contents. A homemade gift such as bath salts is simply prettier when presented in a classic glass container.

Where do you find beauty products packaging for your homemade products? If your attempts to find thrift shop treasures is unsuccessful (that's where I ALWAYS start my searches), hopefully this page will help you find what you need. Let's take a look! :)

Makeup Brush Carrier Roll Up

Clever Packaging of Makeup Brushes

This isn't exactly a container though this sushi roll mat certainly does an excellent job of containing my makeup brushes. It's so easy to make. There is no tutorial, but you can see a few more pics here on my blog.

You will need a length of black elastic and a sushi roll mat for each makeup brush roll up. These make wonderful gifts as they are not only practical but pretty and cleverly packaged don't you think? :)

Absolutely, even when I'm making them only for myself, and especially when I'm gifting them. I especially like the hobnail milk glass jars and bottles you display here. So pretty. and I'm thinking they might add a special touch to even the most high tech chrome and black décor. Thanks for all the links, too. Lots to check out here.

Yes, ma'am. A pretty presentation is important! I recently made some bath bombs and the milk glass jars you've featured would be perfect for displaying them!
