If you don't have mismatched socks, you should!

Although mismatched isn't quite the right word, because these stunning - and incredibly popular - socks are actually perfectly matched, they're just not identical.

These are incredibly fashionable at the moment and they're also great fun to wear. This is part of a sock revolution! Be part of it.

Are you like me and have a pile of single socks in your laundry room? I did and now they will be a thing of the past.

These versions are made in the United States from recycled cotton and not only are they delightful, they're also incredibly comfortable

Socks have previously been high on the list of the world's most boring gifts - until now. Girls, guys and kids love these because they are beautiful, practical and super-stylish. What could be better? My mum always used to use knitted slippers at home because of their practicality and of course, their lovely warmth. These are a great gift - or a way to treat yourself.

Warm colors

Aren't they gorgeous? I love the colors so much - they are so cheerful. Please scroll down to see more beautiful and stunning examples. They are so stylish.

You see how easily you can wear one from this pair and one from the previous pair - and they'll still coordinate.

Order these beauties online

These wonderful fashion items are available for men, women, kids and even babies and make unusual and original gifts. Why wear boring old fashioned footwear any more? These are also great to wear around the home as slippers. They are beautifully color-coded so if you have several sets in different colorways, you'll still always have beautiful coordination. Plus, they're fun! Kids love them, as do we 'big kids'.

These are great gifts for anyone. I have these and so does my granddaughter - which gives you an example of how they aren't intended for any particular age group.

She gets a kick out of the fact that her grandma wears the same thing as she does!

And of course, it works the other way too - I love knowing that this old grandma is wearing the same items as her very fashion-conscious granddaughter.

Read great reviews of these great garments

I remember someone telling me many years ago (possibly my old gran who used to wear bedsocks) that 'if your feet are warm, your whole body is warm' and I have proved that time and time again.

Keeping your extremities cozy is a way to feel warmer all over and eliminates the need for expensive heating, in many cases. We all want to save the planet's resources and here's a way to do it in style.

Users absolutely rave about these. They come in lots of lovely colors (I want them all) and are beautifully designed.

You can see immediately how colorful they are but this closeup also shows the quality of the fabric. It also gives an idea just how .... there's no other word ... snuggly they are!

A project I need to find time for is knitting my own versions. If you're a keen knitter, I bet that you have many oddments of wool that need to be used up.

Making similar footwear is the perfect way to make use of all those small balls of wool and create beautiful garments at the same time. If you only have small amounts of yarn, you can make lovely gifts for babies and young children.

In these days, when we're all thinking about the environment, reusing and recycling, using odd pieces of wool to create beautiful garments makes perfect sense.

Create your own

Have you noticed how knitting has been exploding in popularity recently?

I have a friend who absolutely raves about knitting looms. She'd never knitted a thing in her life before until she had her baby but I guess that maternal instinct took over. She's made some wonderful garments for her family and is thinking of opening up her own business selling her fabulous creations.

She's at home with the baby so it's a great idea to make extra money and can grow into a full-time business over the years.

I like to do mirror images, e.g. white on green and green on white--that way the yarn comes out even.
