The Cat In The Hat - Dr Seuss's Most Famous Character
The Cat in the Hat is probably Dr Seuss's most instantly recognized character, indeed, he has more or less become the logo for Dr Seuss merchandise. This character is one of Dr Seuss's silliest and most entertaining too and kids love the story of this weird and wonderful cat arriving and creating havoc, on a rainy day, along with his accomplices, Thing 1 and Thing 2, for two children while their mother is out.
The Cat in the Hat also appears in a second book: The Cat in the Hat Comes Back.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas has become one of Dr Seuss's most well-known books because of its Christmas message and because of the very successful movie, starring Jim Carrey, based on the book. How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a similar story of redemption as Dicken's Christmas Carol, but its rhyming text and amusing illustrations make it perfect for children.

Green Eggs and Ham is one of Dr Seuss's most endearing and amusing books featuring a profferer of the unusual delight of Green Eggs and Ham and a nameless sceptic who is reluctant to try such debatable delicacies.
After much persuasion in many funny situations, the Green Eggs and Ham is eventually consumed.

If I Ran The Zoo
If I Ran The Zoo is a book where Dr Seuss encourages imagination by letting his go wild and inventing peculiar animals and countries through the dreams of a small boy; Gerald McGrew.
In typical Dr Seuss fashion, nonsense words abound and used to create a rhyming narrative describing the boy's dream zoo.
The following Dr Seuss Ties are based on the book "If I Ran The Zoo".

Dr Seuss Collection
This collection features all the Dr Seuss book pages and product pages that my enthusiasm for Dr Seuss's creations has driven me to create: Dr Seuss Lensography.
I cannot remember when I had my first Dr Seuss book read to me by my parents as I was too young, but I can remember enjoying Green Eggs and Ham, The Sneetches, Hop On Pop and Horton Hatches The Egg over and over again as a young reader. As well as being great fun and having an amazing visual impact Dr Seuss stories have a message behind them; these things have all gone towards making the popularity of Dr Seuss's world such that there are still vibrant sales of his books and a huge range of products carrying his characters.
