Tissot Glam Sport, an Elegant and Practical Women's Sport Watch
Recently, I won a prize in a sports photography competition - it was a beautiful Tissot Glam Sport watch. I have a very active lifestyle, and hadn't worn a watch for years, but this one has shown me that it is possible to wear an elegant watch in normal day to day activities and for sport.
Since then, I have worn it everyday, whether working, doing household chores, on evenings out and even at my fitness and martial arts classes. It makes a perfect accessory for for any woman who has to juggle a busy life, and look confident and stylish. This is one of the few watches that looks right on me. I have slender wrist, but the Swiss made Tissot Glam Sport Series have beautiful feminine lines. It also has a subtle sporty feel.
Like other Tissot watches, it comes beautifully packaged (see photo gallery below). The presentation box includes a book detailing the history of the Tissot watch, and an up-to-date catalogue of the Tissot range. Opening the box, you will find the watch gracefully presented on a small white pillow - very impressive!
It weighs just 83g, and the case is only 8.2 mm thick, so is it light on the wrist. The diameter is 28 millimetres, just over an inch across, so doesn't look too big for me. The bracelet is stainless steel, with a fold-over clasp with button release. It feels very secure on my wrist. I had mine adjusted, by removing a couple of links, it fits snuggly and comfortably. The sapphire crystal dial face is scratch resistant and surrounded with precious stones, and the dial face is a beautiful, shining white of pearl.
From the practical point of view, the Tissot Glam Sport has a reliable movement. It is water resist to 5 bar - that's equivalent to 165 feet (50 metres). To maintain the water resistance, you should have new batteries fitted by qualified fitters, with the correct equipment to test the seal.

The Tissot Glam Sport is a very feminine watch, sized to fit the female wrist. I have quite small wrists and hands, but find my Tissot looks and feels great.
