Very Fast Hair Growth w/ Ayurveda
Ayurveda Is the Simplest Way to Grow Beautiful Hair!
Many problems such as hard to grow hair can be rectified by using the Indian science of ayurveda. What is it, you ask? Let's just say that it's an entirely different way of looking at hair care and gives powerful results you would not believe.
Without it, I would not have been able to gain back the health of my hair, during my long struggle with hypothyroidism; a very real medical condition that often goes undiagnosed, or is mistaken for some other problem. It is also one of the top reasons men and women are experiencing falling and thinning hair .
I love ayurveda for a number of reasons: the practice is all natural , and anyone regardless of their hair type can use it, whether there is an issue or not. Ayurveda also eliminate the need to use a separate conditioner. And the best part is, it grows hair faster than anything else I have ever tried.
In this article, I want to talk about my own personal experiences with hair growth , and the many different ways to increase length, for all hair types and how to insure faster greater success.
Thousands upon thousands of men and women have adopted the Indians' custom, simply because it does work, and the Web is loaded with unbelievable photos and testimonials that prove that it works! I am proof as well.
The History of Indian Ayurveda:
Thanks to my friend Sonji who is a native of India, I did not have to do much research on the subject of ayurveda. Through her, I learned that centuries ago, Indian holy medicine men did in fact create the first hair oils for fast natural hair growth .
They took special care to infuse a number of powerful roots, extracts and flowers into potent blends that not only address every hair problem, but nurture and keeps the hair beautiful.
These vitamin and mineral enriched oils are applied to the scalp and worked through, to the ends of the hair. Immediately afterwards, a gentle massage is applied for fifteen to thirty minutes. In India, the process is called "hair oiling." and it's very affective, even on the senses. This tradition is still ongoing today, and gaining much popularity all over the world.
Even I gained more than 2" of growth in as little as 6-10 weeks. My hair is softer, healthier, shinier, smoother, and more manageable to the touch. It also strengthened by 70%.
There are a lot of naysayers out there, who would say that this information is false or misleading. The fact is that there are and have been many trials, and ongoing studies to test the effectiveness of ayurveda. So you do not have to take my word, the evidence is there.
The First Step Was to Get to the Root of the Problem
For the longest time, I struggled to get fast natural hair growth. My doctor and I couldn't understand or figure out why my hair was thinning. He ran a number of tests, which always came back negative or normal, and yet my hair continued to break and I kept gaining weight.
I was so embarrassed, and tried to hide the problem by wearing extensions and wigs. My self-esteem plummeted and I dreaded going out in public. To make matters worse, people were cruel with their looks and stares and made the most hateful statements and comments.
I finally took my doctor's advice and tried the store-bought hair re-growth system. I didn't care about any side affects I just wanted my hair back. Surprisingly, the product did very little.
One day, I received a nine page article that covered everything about hypothyroidism. I simply cried, feeling relieved that I'd possibly found the cause for my suffering: why I was gaining weight, and the reason I felt tired. I also felt anger towards my doctor, until I read how a person could have all the symptoms, and the tests could reveal nothing.
So I made another expensive appointment with my doctor, and took the literature with me. A couple of weeks later, I found out that I had borderline thyroid disease.
I turned to my dear friend Sonji, who happens to be an excellent herbalist. We sat down together and drew up a complete plan of action. She taught me how to do the hair oiling regimen, and explained that specific herbals would dramatically change my hair, and actually correct my thyroid at the same time. And that's exactly what happened.
I Then Looked Into the Other Causes of Problematic Hair
I can’t blame my thyroid solely for the cause of my woes. The fact that I was using a lot of heat and a name brand shampoo slowed hair growth as well. But the biggest mistake was the sponge rollers I used every night before going to bed.
These destroyers break the hair. So I started using rods instead, and stopped using my blow dryer completely, except for the times when I needed my hair to be as straight as possibly. Even then, I made sure (the night before) to do a hair and scalp oiling, and I never had any more problems.
I did more research and was shocked to find that there were lots of factors that can destroy any efforts to gain healthy growing hair. And here is a I list of the most common culprits:
DHT - in both men and women (hormonal changes)
Meds & oral contraceptives
Over the counter remedies
Heredity & aging
Lack of exercise & sleep
Exposure to pollutants and toxins & smoking cigarettes
Undiagnosed and diagnosed medical conditions
Fully processing the hair with a relaxer or perm
Store bought shampoos and conditioners
I Also Began to Use the Best Solutions for Correcting Hair Issues
Along with a very good hair, skin and nails supplement, I used this ayurveda organic oil religiously, to get the results seen in the photos below. The oil does not contain filler oils, or useless herbs that do nothing for hair growth. What it does contain is the essence of ayurveda that works wonders with any hair issue.
But I had to go the extra mile, because of my thyroid medical condition. Therefore, I chose the best herbs in capsule form to support my thyroid, I ate balanced meals, and changed to a natural hair brush. It took some time, but experienced great results.
After using the oil, and seeing what a difference it has made in my hair and in my life, there's no way, I'll go back to using a commercial hair product.

The Oil Showing Great Progress
Hair Beginning to Fill In
I'm so glad I came across this forgotten photo, because it does show my progress with hair growth. By using the ayurveda hair oil and leaving it in 2xs a week, the hairline slowly began to fill in, and my scalp was able to finally maintain the moisture it desperately needed.
In order for hair to grow, the scalp must be kept well moisturized at all times. Oils not only lubricate the scalp, but will keep it moisturized, until it is worn away or either washed out.
As you can see by my sideburns, I had hair everywhere else, except for where it needed to be. My hormones were all over the place: stalling my weight goals and my hair growth.
Since this photo, I have naturally corrected my thyroid problem (thank goodness), and I no longer have facial hair. I love my hair, because it feels and looks extremely healthy. I can now brush it, and not see clumps collected in the bristles.
Many people want to know, why I didn't take thyroid drugs. First of all, this was a personal choice, and one that I felt strongly about. If my condition had been at the stage, where I had absolutely no other options, but to take drugs, then I would have.
Before Using the Hair Oiling Regimen
This photo was taken 10 weeks prior to achieving 3" of hair growth, by using Vspa Botanicals Ayurveda hair growth oil. The hair was extremely uneven, broken, breaking, and so brittle. And at the temples, there was very little hair growth at all, but slowly these areas began to grow as well.
I know first hand that hair problems don't just occur overnight. In fact, there are a number of contributing factors. If you're experiencing dramatic hair changes, don't give up, find a great physician, and demand that he gets to the bottom of it and insist he rules out an underactive thyroid.
After Using the Hair Growth Regimen
For hair that's breaking, brittle and severely damaged, it is recommended that you do the hair oiling 3-4 times a week, at least until your hair returns to a more natural state.
Will it work for everyone?
I've never come across anyone who hasn't experienced some type of hair growth, but there are a few people with serious medical conditions: chemical imbalances and/or irreversible hair loss. Therefore, results may be slow or very hard to achieve.
Ayurveda hair oils and hair tonics are for all hair types. What that means is everyone, regardless of race can use the same product. Here is a list of different hair types:
Natural hair - Virgin
Course hair - Ethnic hair
Medium hair - Ethnic hair
Fine hair - Ethnic hair
Naturally straight - Ethnic hair
Naturally wavy/curly - Ethnic hair
I Picked the Best Way to Supplement My Diet
For the longest time, no one could find this wonderful supplement, except on one of the top rated Home Shopping channels. Thank goodness the developer, who uses nothing but solar power to manufacture his line of supplements made it available by other means, and it's cheaper too..
My Shampoo Played a Major Role - Sulfate - Free
This shampoo is a must have in my home. Why, because it's formulated with soap nuts and all the goodness of other ayurveda herbs. It has no harsh ingredients or sulfates. Best of all, there is no lingering residue known to clog hair follicles, and it leaves the scalp squeaky clean, nourished and moisturized.
Question Of The Day: Should I Use A Shampoo That Lathers?
The truth is no one should, because the lathers come from detergents that dry the hair and scalp. Just because a product lathers well, doesn't mean it cleanses well. Soap nuts grow hair, soften, moisturizes and creates a natural lather, for those of us, who must have this.

Pure Herbal Blends I Trust
In the beginning, I tried all sorts of oils and enjoyed them, like the Dabur line, which is Indian made and a name to remember. If I weren't my own manufacturer, I would definitely go back to using these products.
When it comes to the health of my hair, I only trust hair products that are derivatives of the Indian practice and/or come directly from India, where hair issues are rarely a problem. Don't forget, the solution to hair growth originated in India.
I started off by using this amazing oil. It’s filled with everything I wanted in a good hair beautifier. As a matter of fact it’s formulated with great ayurveda herbals, and worthy of being placed in this article.
This oil is another one of my favorites, because it's not only a great product, it comes with convenient travel tubes. It's formulated with Argan oil that absorbs quickly, and has been known to grow hair and promotes new growth. Dryness will be a thing of the past, when the product is used regularly.
My Herbalist Recommended Hair Friendly Brushes
These hair brushes are the only ones of their kind in that they are made of natural bristles. This is very important because they get nourishing blood flow to the scalp and the hair follicles and complimented the results gained from doing the oiling regimen.
In the beginning I used one with extra soft bristles, because my hair was badly damaged. And then I started using a firmer one, when my hair strengthened and started to grow.
This boars bristle brush is a bit wider than most and it's a customer pick item. It happens to be one of my favorites as well, because it brushes more hair, with each stroke. This is important to me, especially, when I'm in a hurry to get out of the house. It feels great and I have yet to experience a problem.
This brush is similar to the one that I have, and the one that I use the most. It actually feels as if I’m not brushing my hair at ... it's that soft. The bristles are ultra soft and comfortable, and won't snag or pull my hair. You need this brush, if you have bald spots, because it gently glides over these areas, without causing discomfort.

Taking Care of African American Hair & Ethnic Hair
Important Tips for African American Hair & Ethnic Hair
Don’t Use Anything but Ayurveda
If you press your hair, chemically process it by using relaxers and perms, you really need ayurveda, to replenish the scalp and to strengthen the hair. It also softens, makes the relaxer last longer, and protects the hair as well.
So if you aren't into natural hair, and you must use chemicals, use ayurveda hair oils. But keep in mind that chemical hair products greatly put your hair at risk for easy breakage and damage. The simple fact is relaxed hair is not natural hair. Your hair is in its weakest state when you apply chemicals to it, and should be treated as gentle as possible.
If you have African American hair or any other Ethnic hair and want to cut your grooming time in half, and never have a hair issue again, give herbal hair oiling a try.
A Note About Braids:
Braids are worn for various reasons, even hair growth. I love to wear them, especially when my work load gets hectic, and I just don't have the time to deal with hair styles. When I find myself wearing braids on a regular basis, I make sure to oil my scalp with an ayurveda hair oil, to keep it moisturized, and to cut down on the itching associated with wearing braids. Your hair needs this oil to prevent dryness and breakage.
Keep Your Thyroid Healthy!
I Had No Choice but to Deal with My Thyroid
These natural herbal remedies gently and safely supports thyroid health. Even if the thyroid is a bit off, it could affect efforts to achieve fast natural hair growth.
The reason I emphasis the issue is because even though there are tell-tell signs, we often over look them, and blame it on hormones, or a poor diet. This is exactly what I thought. If I had only listened to my inner voice, I probably could've avoided a lot of what I went through with having an hypoactive thyroid.
There are so many wonderful natural brands out there for thyroid support. And this one happens to be one of them. It would have been my second choice, if I hadn't found the one that works wonders for me.

The Final Step: Choosing a Great Wrap to Protect My Growing Hair
It is vitally important to protect your hair at all times, even at bedtime. These wraps and scarves are excellent aides in fast natural hair growth, and very comfortable. The best part is they are stylish and excellent for wearing all day long ... or anytime of the day.
Of all the wraps, this is the one that I see the most. They come in a number of different colors, so women feel comfortable wearing them, when they have to run errands, or when they quickly pop in and out of a store. This one is actually made out of satin.
This head wrap is absolutely gorgeous, and also makes a fashion statement. You can wear this silk wrap to bed, out in public, and all day long if you want. But if you live in an unbearable climate, like I do, I only suggest wearing this overnight.

A Guide for Hair & Skin
The procedures I use for hair growth and hair beautification, also benefits the body and the skin in a number of ways. Can you think of anything else that does this? A spa treatment is wonderful, but a total body and skin treatment is much, much better, and you can do it in the privacy of your own home ... but only if you use the easy to do treatments in a guided way. The book also gives tips for eating healthier, for maximum results.
A Hair Oiling Scalp Massage Is Also Needed
To reap the benefits of fast natural hair growth through ayurveda, a good hair oil and a scalp massage must be performed, at least 2-3xs a week. The massage gets nourishing blood flowing to the scalp and the hair follicles, that not only aide in hair growth, but jumpstarts it as well.
Another Way to Do the Scalp Massage
You've read my fondness for hair scalp massage, now see it done in real time. Not everyone does the massage, the exact same way, but all methods are beneficial and gets the job done.
Hair Damage & Thinning
If you have the time and the supplies, you can create your own hair products, right in your own home. I absolutely enjoy doing this, and experimenting with the many ways to make all sorts of formulations. Watch the video and learn how to make something customized just for you.

Question Of The Day:
Will this oil fill in the bald spots as quickly as it grows hair on the head?
This is a wonderful question. My experiences were this: my hair grew much faster elsewhere, than it did at the temple, where I really needed it. The reason being is that I had to correct my thyroid, first and foremost, just to see the hair filling in.
