What is admittedly the most ridiculous article of clothing in your wardrobe?
How old is it? And why can't/don't you get rid of it?
A black, velvet 3/4 length coat with a red silk lining.
It's been in my wardrobe about 5 years, and was only worn once - I felt kind of silly wearing it ... but clothes like that just can't be thrown away, and I'm sure I'll find a use for it one day.
Then I have a red and white trucker's jacket with 'Mack' written down the arms. I thought it looked cool at the time of buying, but everyone looks at me when I wear it. Still, it is a vintage jacket, and just can't be thrown away ...
A pair of neon yellow hot pants (short short). I bought them when I was on vacation and obviously, had my better judgment warped by too much fun. I may use them for Halloween one year so I keep 'em.
I bought a blue leather jacket from a thrift store a while back that has got to be from the 80's. I was attracted to the price and it does look good on me but I don't know if I'm game enough to actually wear it anywhere. Guess I'll see come winter.

When it comes to your wardrobe do you focus on quantity or quality?I recently read that Parisian women generally have 1/2 as many clothing items as American women, but tend to have very high quality items. I am curious, what clothing philosophy do you go for - quantity? quality? or a hybrid...

If you had to narrow your wardrobe down to just 10 pieces of clothing, what would you pick?If you had to make your entire wardrobe (including things appropriate for home, work, Church, events etc.) with just 10 pieces of clothing what would you pick? (For the purposes of this, we'll say the...

What is the oldest article of clothing you still wear?I found a sweater awhile back that I have had for probably 20 years and I wore it again. It made me wonder if other people keep clothes that long? What's the longest you've had an article of clothing and what was it? Why do you keep...
