   Well, when younger I did put a colour through every year or so, but it was only on a whim.   Now I have gray hair, and don't bother that much.   Occasionally I might put a rinse through, just for a change.
   Whether or not to colour one's hair is very much a personal choice.  Recently, I saw a man with bright green hair, so it's not just ladies!

   Well it depends on how high maintenance the hair style is. If you bleach it and dye a completely different colour from your natural hair colour (e.g black to blonde), you will need to go back regularly (monthly) to do a touch up at the roots. If you do simple highlights, like light brown on black hair just to lighten your overall look, then it can be as long as 4-6 months before you go back to the saloon.

   nope i never dye my hair, i even trim my own hair. Unless I have grey hairs, I would buy a cheap dye.

   I tend to change my hair color up pretty much every season. Usually it's just different shades of red, but last summer I went strawberry blonde and this spring I'm probably gonna do an orangey shade.

   Believe me or not, I cannot even rememer:) A great number of times! And even now I`m about to get two tone coloring like on Photo 8 from here - http://therighthairstyles.com/two-tone-hair-styles/ . It looks trendy, isn`t it?

   I touch up my roots at least every four weeks. Sometimes I think this is a problem, however I do like the way it looks when I'm done. I could stop dying it blonde but then my grey hair would show, so since I have to cover it anyway, I might as well be blonde.

   I did a lot of highlighting in the past, but then decided to go natural. And you know what? It was the best decision. Of course, there might be issues with finding the right hairstyle or stuff like that but it is better this way. By the way, I'm preparing for my wedding and searching for some good ideas for natural hair. Would appreciate some help) found this collection https://thehairstyledaily.com/natural-hair-updos/ and loved a few hairstyles. have you got any suggestions?

   As someone above said..it depends on ur natural colour.because of the root growth.i used to have my hair coloured blonde with some bleached highlights and my natural hair is dark so the longest i could go before needing it done again was 6-8 weeks..
