Glamour Kills

Updated on February 16, 2015

Welcome to my Glamour Kills Gift Guide

Wondering what the heck is Glamour Kills?

Well lets just say it all started with a flying pig... The logo of Glamour Kills is actually a flying pig, think when pigs fly. Pretty darn cute and definitely catchy, and most of all it worked. The GK name itself actually says it all. The most impressive thing is this company was founded and developed by a kid in 2005.Fresh out of High School with a simple idea,

Mark Capicotto began his Glamour Kills Apparel biz out of his parents' basement. Mark's dream was to incorporate his art on t-shirts. He started by putting his designs onto five shirts. Guess what?

They sold out and he made five more, and that is how the story goes.

Glamour Kills is Marketed in the Music Industry. Totally geared toward the Young American Pop Culture Crowd. GK is Alive, Fresh and Totally Fun. These threads definitely have a Rocker and Edgy Appeal, which makes Glamour Kills TOTALLY COOL.

The company has since been featured in many magazines and is worn exclusively by many bands, including All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Bayside, Boys Like Girls, A Day to Remember and many more. Glamour Kills was initially sold at concerts and shows as band merch and has grown so popular, they now have their own stores and have been picked up by retailers like Zumiez and many more.

Wow! What a great American Inspiration, Congrats Mark on your Success!
