Hair Care Right From Your Kitchen
First, let's consider what causes damaged unruly hair? Problem hair is one of the biggest problem women have today. There are multiple factors that can cause hair damage. Let's consider over tinting, perming, blow drying, over using your flat iron, and let's not forget the sun. Another consideration the factors of "aging". All these factors can attribute to dry unruly hair. It's evident that some of these factors cannot be readily changed, but it's a fact all the above mentioned can and will attribute to robbing your hair of its natural moisture - and leave it dry, brittle, and unmanageable.

Well, I have some great easy hair treatments recipes that you can mix up right in your kitchen, and you may even already have most of the ingredients right in your pantry. Not only are my homemade remedies tried and true, but economical , and earth friendly.
Does Your Hair Need Moisture? - To add moisture and shine to your hair, try this simple homemade rinse.
Hair Needs Moisture
If your hair is dry and lifeless, try this leave in rinse: It's all natural, and will leave your hair not only well moisturized, but so shiny!
Mix 1½ teaspoon honey to 5 cups of warm water. After shampooing your hair pour the mixture over hair, massage it lightly to make sure the mixture is reaching all parts of the hair. Leave it in, style. To bring out highlights - add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to the mixture.
Moisturizing Hair Conditioner - This Moisturizing Hair Conditioner adds great hydration, Plus loads of shine.
1½ cup honey
1/4 cup of olive oil,
Four drops essential oil of rosemary.
Mix all 3 ingredients in a small bowl . Wet hair towel dry then apply the mixture sparingly to dampened hair. Let sit for 10 minutes lightly shampoo mixture out rinse well. You will be so pleased at the shine, and hydration you will get from this treatment. it smells heavenly too.
If you have some left don't toss it away, apply the leftover mixture to extra dry skin areas, like knees, elbows, you name it. Let set 30 minutes wipe away with damp washcloth.
Dry flyaway hair - Add a bit of salad dressing to your hair?
1 ripe avocado
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tea lemon
Mach the avocado well , mix in the lemon juice and mayo, and mix all together. Shampoo hair after rinsing, apply the mixture to wet washed hair, wrap it all up in clear kitchen wrap, leave on 30 minutes, rinse well. Style as normal.
Coconut oil has been a popular oil treatment for thousands of years . Coconut oil can keep hair strong, and work to vitalize hair against the signs of aging. If you were to visit India today, you would see women in their 70's who still have healthy shiny black hair. This is partially due to the coconut oil that is present in their hair care products.
Tip: Apply coconut oil to hair, massage it in, and allow it to work overnight for best results. It's wise to cover hair with saran wrap if you're worried about your linen's. Rinse out in your morning shower. Enjoy the wonderful shine and texture throughout the day.

Chamomile For Blondes - Stop And Smell The Flowers
For gorgeous natural blonde highlights, mix up some chamomile tea, and keep it handy in the fridge. Women have known about the wonderful benefits in Chamomile for hundreds of years. Chamomile has properties that work to bring out highlights in hair, and also adds a great shine.
Tip: Use 6 tea bags for every 8 oz of water for best results. "After washing and conditioning, rinse with cool water, then spritz hair with the chamomile tea and let dry. Not only will your hair have highlights that sparkle in the sun, you'll smell great too!".
Hibiscus Tea Is Great For Enhancing Highlights In Red Hair
Tip: Mix a strong pot of tea using 10 tea bags of Hibiscus tea, with 10 cups of boiling water. Allow tea to steep, and cool, then pour into a spray bottle, and spritz on hair that is 70% air dried. Don't rinse or shampoo for 24 hours afterwards. The highlights emerge even stronger if you're in the sun for a few hours.

Tip: Add 1 tablespoon of salt to 4 oz of water in a spray bottle. After washing, and conditioning your hair, spritz the salt spray all over hair, comb hair a bit with fingers, scrunch it up a bit, allow to dry naturally look. Again lightly style your "Do" with your fingers or a styling pick. Your hairdo will not only look free and natural sexy, but it will only cost you a bit of salt!

Could your hair benefit from a good cleaning, is it feeling weighed down from product build up, that you can't seem to ever wash out? Well, save your hard earned cash, don't buy an expensive clarifying shampoo. Open your pantry and pull out the Baking soda. Hey, think how well it cleans a refrigerator, plus it's a natural deodorizer.
Tip: Mix baking soda into your shampoo, use the palm of your hand, add shampoo, and baking soda, make a paste, wet your hair well, and add mixture to wet hair, suds up as usual for a deep and thorough cleaning, rinse well. Let your hair breathe, and enjoy the oh-so clean feeling of wonderfully clean hair.

Old fashioned brushing from the roots out to the ends can help to promote healthy shiny hair. It is a home hair treatment that will help moisturize the scalp with its own natural oils. Brushing also promotes hair growth, by increasing circulation to the scalp. This added moisture can aid in softening the hair, and spread around the natural oils that can help hair regain its shine as well as youthful look.
Important note: Use only a natural bristle, brush. Plastic or metal can be harmful for repeated brushing.
Rosemary - Want To Promote Hair Growth?
Rosemary oil can really boost hair growth., as well as improve its texture, shine and thickness.
Tip: Every night, put two drops of rosemary oil on your hair brush and gently brush hair both over, and under". You can also take a few drops and rub directly into your scalp for extra stimulation.
