Make Your Own Cocoa Butter Bath Melts

Bath and Body products are very popular these days, specially handmade bath and body. One of my favorites is the Cocoa Butter Bath Melts. These bath melts are made with %100 natural cocoa butter, coconut oil and essential oils, they are pure indulgence! Here I'll show you how to make these moisturizing bath luxuries and have them on hand for a very special treat. The butters in here are rich and very moisturizing to the skin.

These butters melt at about the same temperature as your bathwater. Drop one or two in the tub and it will cause them to instantly begin melting. You can use different scents of lavender, peppermint, chamomile or rose essential oils, they all give special qualities to these bath treats! Well, have fun and enjoy your bath time.

Raw Cocoa Butter 100% Pure Organic 16 oz.

Cocoa butter is one of the most luxurious and most used butters in skin care. It's been called the ultimate moisturizer, and has been used to keep skin soft and supple for centuries. It is one of the most stable, highly concentrated natural fats known, and melts at body temperature so that it is readily absorbed into the skin. Cocoa butter is often recommended for treatment of skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.

Pregnant women have long used to cocoa butter formulations to prevent and treat stretch marks, but this pleasant-smelling substance is added to countless other topical preparations as well. Lotions and oils containing cocoa butter are often used in aromatherapy massages to promote feelings of relaxation and well-being. Recent research indicates that massaging the skin with cocoa butter may help relieve stress, boost the immune system, and even prevent cancer.

To create a whipped and creamy bath melt, that resembles a scoop of ice cream, is very easy to do. Just follow the above recipe for basic Cocoa Butter bath melt, but instead of pouring into baking cups, you will whip the mixture until you have a rich and cream consistency. After you achieve the whipped cream cocoa butter, you will scoop with a spoon and drop some on a cookie sheet and let it cool and harden for 24 hrs before packaging.

** You can add any color and fragrance you like! This is a joy and treat for your skin.
