Where Do I Find Customers?

The Answer: EVERYWHERE! Talk Avon with everyone you know, tell your family, tell your friends, tell your dental hygeinist. Everywhere you go have AVON brochures & business cards with you. Remember everybody is a potential customer! If I stop at the Post Office, I take in a few brochures and lay them in the PO Box area so that when people come in to check their mail they will see my books and hopefully take one home. Some gas stations and small markets have a place on their checkout counter where you can place business cards. My Blockbuster has a community counter right near the exit, I place brochures and cards there. Take brohures to work and church. Hair and tanning salons are hot spots for beauty and will usually allow you to place brochures in the waiting area. You can even offer the salon owner a discount on his/her purchases for allowing you to use their salon as a business tool. Doctors offices are a place where people tend to have to wait for long periods of time and browse through magazines. Watch for cummunity bulletin boards where you can pin a business card or a prospecting flyer. Facebook is a great tool. Create a page for your Avon on facebook and share it with all of your friends and your friends friends. You can even promote your page for as little as $7.00. I sell vintage collectibles and clothing on ebay and whenever I ship a package I put a business card inside. Don't limit yourself to friends and family, get out there and make yourself known as THE Avon Lady.
