Invicta Men's 6981 Pro Diver Watch
The Invicta 6981 pro diver watch has been in my collection for a couple of week now. I'm just amazed by the look and the feel of the watch on my hand. There is just something about the gold and black color combination that makes me think stylish and I feel like I'm sporting bling. I'm been devoted to Swiss quartz movement watches for the longest time.
I can't purchase a watch without the requirement that it has chronograph functions. This watch definitely wasn't an exception to that rule. It has 60 second and 30 minute sub dials. I use these as timers. They work out very great.
Scratch proof mineral crystal cover
To me this was one of the things that attracted me to this watch. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten scratches on the face of my watch. It's so easy to hit the watch on something like a door or shelves and the next thing you know the watch has several scratches on the face. To me the scratches ruin the appeal of the watch and now I start thinking about getting a new watch. With this watch, that concern is out of my mind.
In order for me to purchase a watch it just has to be stainless steel. A diving watch needs this so it can't rust. I'm not really a fan of those plastic watches water resistant watches. They have all these features but they just can't give the professional look. Stainless steel combined with the analog factor and gold plating gives this watch the professional look in my opinion. The drawback is that stainless steel watches are usually a little heavier. For me that's fine. After wearing them for a day or two you get use to the added weight.
