Cheap Jeans Levis - Cheapest Levis Jeans Under 50 Dollars

Updated on February 18, 2011

As with anything, most of us are trying to stretch our dollars. Which is why a pair of cheap jeans from Levis for under 50 dollars are all the more welcome. Levi Strauss jeans are renowned around the globe for their quality and vintage appeal - despite the fact that the more recent designs generally pay a nod in the direction of the modern denim's fashion market.

Like most people, I've owned a few pair in my time - my all time favorites being a heavenly pair of Levis 501's. They're perhaps 10 years old and were a second hand gift to me. They're a fantastic fit and remind me of what's so great about owning a pair of vintage Levis.

There are plenty of cheap jeans online, and many come under the 50 dollar mark and let's face it - we all love a bargain. The five best cheap Levi jeans are featured below - all are popular, best sellers and more than worth their low price tags.

Levi's 529 Women's Misses Curvy Mid Rise Bootcut Jean

Of the range of cheap jeans from Levis, the 529 Misses Curvy are a best selling style. Embracing all the usual aspects found on or in a pair of Levi jeans, this particular pair will nip, tuck and flatter most body shapes. They're a 99% cotton, 1% spandex blend, which means that there's just enough 'give' in the jeans to allow them to mold to your body shape - yet they won't sag and bag as the day wears on.

They're cleverly designed to work with a woman's natural shape, with the waist being lower than the yoke across the back. They're especially good for women with curves, more so those that are small waisted and need some extra depth to the back and seat area. The bootcut style also adds to the fit, as the slight flair on the lower leg will more than balance out the upper thigh, waist and seat. Misses Curvy are a must-purchase pair for those looking to accommodate curves, yet retain a casual air.

Levi's 580 Women's Plus Defined Waist Boot Cut Jean

The 580's are designed for plus sized ladies and for anyone in the plus size range, they're denim heaven. Crafted to follow the contours of your curves, they'll make you look better proportioned due to a combination of both the style and clever design. They're a forgiving denim, the intention being to flatter and tuck, and if there's one defining characteristic of well fitting jeans, it's the fact that they give confidence to the wearer.

This particular style starts at a size 18, going right up to a size 24, and they're also available in a range of colors: light stone-wash through to varying shades of dark blue and black. If you're bigger proportioned, you're better aiming for the darker shades as dark denims are an effective tool when it comes to using clothes to achieve a slimmer outline. An especially good style for those with a small waist, and a great purchase for anyone needing or wanting to achieve a slimmer looking figure.

Levi's Women's Boyfriend Jean

Don't bother borrowing your boyfriend's jeans - purchase your own instead. These are a top pair of boyfriend jeans from Levis and what's really attractive about them is both the price and the fact that they're not for boys. The design is straight, from hip to ankle, the seat and waist hangs loose and low, without losing the ability to flatter and add chic appeal.

Boyfriend jeans are a long way from being outdated and remain as popular a style as ever. They're in demand, they're a great style and will look just as good dressed up as they will dressed down. You can be a total slouch or add some panache but - either way - you'll look utterly fab. They're available from a size 4 up to a size 16 and come in three colors: light blue through dark. Should you buy a pair? For under 50 dollars - absolutely.

Levi's Women's Mid Rise Denim Legging

This pair of jeans from Levis seem a littleĀ misleading, if their design name is anything to go by. They're skinny jeans, pure and simple. Or maybe not quite so simple. They hug the body in the way that any well designed skinny denim should and, besides the wonderfully attractive price tag - these are a button fly pair. Somehow, button fly jeans and the Levi name are synonymous and that seems to be an expected aspect of the brand name.

The Mid Rise are available from a size 4 up to a size 16, come in three colors: blue, black and purple, and you can rock them up or wear them with a more casual appeal. The only downside to them is the regular inseam length, 30". These won't cover a longer leg length but - providing you're of an average height, these are a recommended purchase for anyone wishing to own a pair of well made quality skinny jeans.

Levi's 545 Women's Low Rise Slim Fit Boot Cut Jean

The 545 Low Rise boot cut jeans have got to be a keeper for almost any body shape. They are - in a word - fabulous. The low front/high back allows for contouring with the natural lines of a woman's figure and, much like some of the other designs showcased here - they're a beautiful fit. The price tag makes them even more attractive and the size and color range will suit most buyers.

They start at a size 4, right up to a 16, have three leg lengths: short, standard and long, and come in a choice of seven colors. They're dream denims, an admirable alternative to the well loved vintage 501's and are a highly recommended buy for anyone wishing to purchase a pair of jeans from Levis that tick all the right boxes when it comes to style, fit and quality.

These jeans look really good. I just wish that Levis would carry a Tall Plus Size. I love Levi jeans so maybe this is motive to get down to a regular size. :-)

Ethel - they're a lot better than the old styles. All the denim about the waist, the baggy seat area. All aspects jeans in Levis missed out :)
