Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag review

Updated on October 29, 2011

The longchamp Le Pliage tote bag is uber popular with women of all ages and ethnic groups. No doubt, this tote bag has made it's way into many people's closets. If you don't have this bag yet and thinks about getting one in the near future, this review about the Longchamp Le Pilage tote bag is a must read.

Designs? This style comes with a lot of varieties to satisfy your needs. This bag comes in both the short handles and the long handles. The short handles are mainly used as a handbag because it doesn't go over the shoulders. The long handles can be used as a shoulder bag because it easily fits over the shoulders. They also offer at least two different sizes for the Longchamp Le Pliage, small and large. This bag comes in lots of different colors, patterns and designs that you can choose from. It comes in solid colors as well as other patterns. It is not difficult to find the one that you like. For me personally, I would go with the long handles just because it fits over the shoulder and I think that the bag looks weird as an actual handbag.

Practicality? This handbag is so practical. The handles are leather and the body is nylon. It is very light weight and can fit a lot of stuff. In my opinion, this handbag is perfect for mall and grocery shopping. It frees up both hands so that you can do the shopping without any inhibitions. I would not use this bag for any semi-formal or formal events because it is a very causal bag. I would recommend the Louis Vuitton Alma handbag for formal events. Another thing about this bag is it's perfect for traveling. As with all Le Pliage totes, they can be folded into a very small bag which will fit into luggage nicely.

Quality? Sturdy? The quality is great because I have friends that used the same bag for years everyday. The tote bag really holds up for a long time. For the price to value, the Longchamp Le Pliage is a winner. It is not very expensive and you will get lots of use out of this bag.

Uses? I can name some situations where you can sport the Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag and other situations where you shouldn't. It can be wore when you are at the mall, in the supermarket, at school, at work (if the dress code is causal), on trips, while traveling and etc. It shouldn't be wore at a formal event (when you have formal clothing on) and any other formal situations.

Would I recommend this tote to anyone? Yes, this tote is suitable for women of all ages. You can get so much use out of this bag. And for the price, it is on the cheaper end for a name brand item. Nordstrom actually have some that are discounted during their sales. So, be sure to check it out to save even more money. However, if you are someone that likes unique handbags (bags you don't usually see on the streets too much), you should not purchase this tote as a lot of people have it here in the United States.
