My Top 5 Pink Lipstick From the Drugstore

Updated on September 22, 2014

My Quest: Perfect Shade of Pink Lipstick

I LOVE PINK! I'm a pink lipstick kind of gal. Can you blame me? Pink lipstick makes a girl look pretty and kissable. It brightens up the face and it doesn't matter what your age or skin color is.

Looking for more of a lip balm or gloss?

Check out these awesome PINK lip gloss shades here.

I've been searching for the perfect pink lipstick and I haven't had luck until recently. I've owned several lipsticks since I started wearing one 12 years ago and I literally have about a hundred of them right now. I'm not proud of it though. Anyway, I really wanted to find my HG (Holy Grail) pink lipstick so I tested several pink lipsticks from the drugstore and fortunately, I did find my new favorite lipstick.

I'm not planning on spending $48 on a single Guerlain Lipstick because there is a ton of drugstore lipsticks that have the same color payoff and quality. And a woman can't possibly have just one lipstick in her collection! So instead of spending a lot of money on just one lipstick that you will get tired of eventually, why not buy two or three drugstore lipsticks and use the remaining money on something else.

Alright, let's not drag this along and let's go straight to the list below of my Top Five Pink Lipstick from the Drugstore.

#1 - Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick - Shade: Make Me Pink

5 stars for This Pink Lipstick

My #1 Pick - My Favorite Pink Lipstick from the Drugstore

I can't tell you how happy I am when I found this lipstick!

I've been looking for a pink lipstick with purple undertones forever and this one fits the description perfectly. I wasn't really impressed when I swatched it at the department store, I thought it was a little too pale for me but when I applied it, I couldn't contain my excitement!

Whether you are fair-skinned or have a deeper skin tone, this lipstick will instantly make you pretty. Yes, you can rock it no matter what your skin tone is.

It's not too bright and yet it manages to give your smackers a gorgeous dose of color.

It's creamy enough and what I love the most about it is that it doesn't have any shimmer.

I always top it with a clear gloss and I'm ready to go!

#2 Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - in Cherish

This is one of the hottest lip products today and everyone is raving about them for a reason. These babies are supposedly a dupe for Clinique Chubby Sticks. They look identical that I can't really tell which is which from afar. Anyway, the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is a tinted balm that stays on for hours. It leaves a gorgeous tint on the lips even after a round of drinks. The minty smell does not bother me at all. Although Clinique Chubby Sticks are more moisturizing, I'm willing to do a trade off with longer staying power that Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain provides.

I personally love the shade Cherish among the rest of the balm stains because of its super pretty bubblegum pink color and the tint it leaves behind.

#3 Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick - in Airy Fairy

If you want a light pink lipstick with specks of shimmer then you are in luck with the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Airy Fairy.

This is one of the most popular shades of this line. I've heard about so many Youtube beauty gurus talk about this particular shade over and over.

If you find that this lipstick is a bit drying, apply a lip balm before putting it on. It's a pink/nude color so it's definitely suited for any skin tone.

Airy fairy is a good shade to wear if you are wearing smokey eyes. It has the right amount of color without overpowering your eye look.

Tip of the Day...

If your lips are peeling off, the last thing you want to do is accentuate the dryness by applying lipstick. Make your own lip scrub at home by combining sugar and olive oil. Mix the two together until you get a pasty consistency. Rub the mixture on your lips and rinse it with warm water.

#4 NYX Round Lipstick in Louisiana

If you want bright pink lips without going overboard, try the NYX Round Lipstick in Louisiana. The color is not something that will make every woman in the room raise her eyebrow.

The shade Louisiana is great for evening wear or if you simply just want to rock a new look. NYX Round Lipsticks have earned their good reputation because of their color payoff and creamy consistency. The color range is ridiculous too! I've never seen so many lipstick shades.

I recommend this shade for those who want a bright, warm pink lipstick with no shimmer. You don't need a gloss with this one, the lipstick alone is gorgeous.

#5 - L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour - Shade: Tender Pink

This is a beautiful rose color with brown undertones. Very wearable and most refer to it as their MLBB (my lips but better). The formula is very creamy and it's a treat to apply.

I love that it doesn't have any shimmer and it has decent staying power.

It's very moisturizing too so there's no need to apply lip balm.

This particular shade will look pretty on any skin tone. For a more natural look, lightly dab it on your lips until you get your desired color.

It's a very natural shade of pink that doesn't look "too much". Your lips will look healthy and definitely "kissable".

Many stores have stopped carrying this specific shade of this L'Oreal lipstick (which really stinks!).....

BUT, you can still get it here for a SUPER good price.

Your Opinion....
