Now Where Did I Put My Glasses?

Updated on September 6, 2014

Are you guilty of misplacing your eyeglasses,

sunglasses, reading glasses? I used to do that all the time until I was given an eyeglass holder stand by my mother in law. It was actually gifted to me secondhand but I was truly happy to have it handed down to me.

Admittedly, some may think my eyeglass holder is not quite as funky cool as the wooden nose stand shown here (isn't it awesome?), but my tropical toucan bill eyeglass holder belonged to my late father in law and he and I shared a love for the quirkier things in life, so that holder pictured below is VERY, VERY special to me.

My father in law truly had a wonderful attitude about life in general. He was a simple man who worked very hard for his family, but he was quick to find humor wherever he could. Every time I look at it, I think of him and remember the laughter that seemed to appear whenever he did. :)

One thing all of these holders do,

of course, is make your eyeglasses or sunglasses or reading glasses easy to find. No more misplaced glasses!

I took a couple of pictures today so you can see just how impressive my holder is! I realize this style may not be suited for everyone's taste, but once I started looking online I found there are many different designs available.

Which Peeper Keeper Is Your Style?

Comes in a clear gift box. Great for gift giving too!

I would definitely have to get this in red as that is my favorite color. These are very stylish!

There are stands made of wood and some made of plastic. You can also choose desktop models that resemble an eyeglass case on a stand. Most of these holders are lined to keep your glasses clean and help prevent scratches.

Great ideas, thanks because I'm always losing my glasses. I'm to the the point where I try to keep a pair in every room.

How fun! I keep mine on my face all the time except when I sleep. Yes, I'm blind without them! I have been known to set them on the bed when pulling a blouse over my head and have to feel around so I guess I could use one for that!

I don't currently have a place to keep my glasses. Since I use them only for driving at night, I pretty much keep them in the glove compartment in my vehicle. I must say, though, that I saw a really cute moose version that I would love. That's the mooseaholic in me speaking.
