Olympics Inspired Nail Art Manicure Tutorials: London Olympics 2012

Updated on October 17, 2012

Olympic Themed Nail Art

As the 2012 Summer Olympics are finally underway, a lot of people are showing their excitement with Olympics Inspired Nail Art! Whether you're lucky enough to be at the Games in London or enjoying watching at home, an Olympic themed manicure is a great way to show your team support and get some fun colors on your nails for summer!

These 8 instructional nail art video tutorials will show you how to paint your own Olympic Inspired Nail Art designs and hopefully give you some inspiration for ways to customize and make a look of your own. Many of these looks incorporate the Union Jack - England's flag - as an homage to the hosting country, but you can add or replace your own country's flag to show patriotism in your own way.

One of the things that I find so cool about all these videos is the way each and every one of these artists interprets the same theme with her own unique style. I encourage you to watch all the videos - you may learn some neat tricks from each of them - and then mix and match the elements and techniques you like the best from each one!

Are you ready? Let the Games Begin!
