Pandora Style Charms For Travellers
How I created a unique travel themed Pandora style charm bracelet
Pandora style charm bracelets are very fashionable, and Pandora style charms with a travel theme make a wonderful gift for the woman who loves to travel.
I love my Pandora bracelets and decided that i did not need to wait to be gifted a charm bracelet, and set about making a bracelet that reflected all the travel that I have done over the past ten years.
Below I have showcased all the charms that I have chosen for my new charm bracelet, each one bringing back a memory of a holiday that was special to me, and I have also included other travel charms that I like, and that might one day make it to my bracelet.
If you want to do the same you can choose between buying a ready made bracelet, complete with charms, a charm bracelet with specially chosen charms, a charm bracelet with one or two charms or just a charm to add to an existing Pandora style bracelet or necklace.
Whether you are choosing a bracelet for yourself, or looking for an anniversary, birthday or Christmas gift for the special someone in your life there are Pandora style charms and Murano style beads here to suit everyone.
I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane— John Denver
Melina Airplane Charm
The logical place to start with a holiday themed charm bracelet would be either the method of transport you used to get there, for example a plane.
The airplane is a symbol not only of most holidays that I have been on, but also of the biggest journey of all when I immigrated to warmer climes.
All my bags are packed I'm ready to go— John Denver
Gold on Sterling Silver Suitcase Charm
Queenberry Suitcase Charm
No matter where you go on holiday you need luggage....whether it's a bespoke suitcase or a cheap holdall.
A suitcase charm will look at home on your travel Pandora style bracelet, and you might be fortunate enough to find one with the actual city that you visited.
I love the simplicity of this suitcase that is accentuated by the gold plated London and Paris stickers.
Having flown from London and to Paris on numerous occasions I decided that this was the perfect piece of luggage for my travel themed charm bracelet.
If you are shopping in the UK/Europe this very same suitcase charm is also available
So kiss me and smile for me— John Denver
Sterling Silver Camera Charm
925Collections Camera Charm
Everybody likes to bring home holiday souvenirs, and photographs are maybe the most poignant and personal souvenir available.
I absolutely love to take photos, whether on holiday or closer to home, and my computer is filled with thousands of photos, each one filled with memories of a holiday or special occasion.so for me no travel charm bracelet would be complete without its very own camera.
I searched very hard to find a camera bead that I would be happy adding to my bracelet.
This charm has been cast to a very high standard, and its sleek finish is sure to add a classy touch to my charm bracelet,
But now I'm building Sandcastles in the sand— Robin Sparkles
Authentic Chamilia Sterling Silver Charm "Sandcastle"
Memories of childhood holidays inevitably involve sea, sand and building sandcastles.
This sterling silver charm from quality jeweler Chamilia is a fine example of the kind of sandcastle I wished I had the patience to build as a child!
I love this castle, much larger and in more detail than I ever managed to create, but to me it signifies my childhood and all the happy holidays we had.
Under the coconut tree we stay— Mohombi
Enamel Detail Palm Tree Bead
I have lived in the tropics for five years, and palm trees become a part of the every day landscape.
Memories of sitting by our pool in Penang, and being surprised when the gardener presented me with a coconut, swiftly and expertly chopping the top off with his machete!
Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree— Marion Sinclair
The kookaburra is a bird that is synonymous with Australia, and its the symbol that I chose to remind me of a month long holiday of a life time spent "down under".
Travelling around Western Australia, sitting on the balcony of our lodge feeding bacon rind to these friendly birds, then moving on from Perth to Melbourne, left me with memories that will last a lifetime.
It was difficult to choose just one reminder of my trip, but in the end this awesome bird won the honor of being a part of my holiday bracelet.
In the jungle, the mighty jungle The lion sleeps tonight— Solomon Linda
Lion Glass Bead
I have had a lifelong love of lions, since childhood, so when I got the opportunity to take an African safari and see them up close up in their own environment I was ecstatic.
If you, or someone you know, has taken a safari holiday then please check out this gorgeous glass lion bead that really would be a talking point on any Pandora style charm bracelet.
I love how the light catches this glass charm, and it has added both color and a talking point to my bracelet - everyone who sees it asks me about it.
To keep you safe on your travels— St Christopher
Sterling Silver One Sided Small Saint Christopher Disc Dangle Charm
St Christopher is the patron saint of travellers so a St Christopher charm on my travel charm bracelet will hopefully help to keep me safe on all of my journeys.
This sterling silver charm has a picture of St Christopher and the words "St Christopher Protect Us" engraved onto the charm.
This is the last charm that I have chosen for my travel themed bracelet - I hope you like my selection.
