Red Nails & Skin Tone

Choosing the right RED nail polish.

Fair skin tone

Red with pink undertones will look fabulous on light skin. Try light berries or deep berries, or plums. Avoid lavendars, bight purples and yellow based colors.

Medium to Olive skin tone

Gold really plays well with olive shades. So try any of the lighter pink red with gold flecks. Orange based reds and and burgandies will also look fabulous on a medium skin tone. Avoid Berries.

Dark skin tone

Virtually everything looks awesome with a dark skin tone. Definitely try bright and vibrant shades, as they will make your skin really glow. Vibrant Reds, rich browns, creams and plums will also look fantastic. Avoid colors which may look chalky against your skin.
