Retro Clothing Of Today

Updated on November 11, 2016

Retro clothing for women, made in the modern day

Fashion trends always seem to be split down the middle. Latest and new styles vs retro styles, brought back from other eras. 1940s and 1950s style fashion is something that comes and goes but it's also something that many people dedicate their lifestyles to!

You may or may not have heard of them before but the Bad Sheep Boutique caters for people who don't follow everyone else's fashion ideas, but uses them to make their own style!!

Retro and rockabilly style fashion is something that plays a big part in the make-up of this company. It's pretty and unique, and if you mix it up with tattoos and attitude, you have something special!

Polka Dots Are Forever Popular!

Most of us have something at home with a polka dot print on. To me, polka dot IS 1950's fashion!

Polka dots are sprouting up everywhere at the moment. Not just subtly, like on a purse or the lining of a jacket, they are really in-your-face, and people aren't afraid now to go all-out with a polka dot dress or bold scarf...even shoes are available with polka dots all over them. I think it's fab!

These scarves for instance, are "very retro" and they can be worn as part of your daily wear, round your neck, as part of a themed costume or some people even use them as waist belts.

Rockabilly cardigans look great on females with many different looks. They can be worn with pedal pusher jeans, skinny jeans, pencil skirts, and lots more!

They are never dull but that doesn't mean they have to be loud either.
