Updated on September 9, 2014

Great Scooby Doo Clothing, Games, and Collectibles!

The Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo Where Are You? first aired in 1969 and it successfully captured the hearts of viewers young and old.

The cartoon starred a dog named Scooby Doo and four teenage crime solving sleuths. Each show dealt with a mystery and ended with the unmasking of a different villain, ghost, or monster character.

Scooby Doo Cartoons

When I was a kid, Scooby-Doo was on the Saturday morning cartoons and I was glued to the TV all Saturday morning. Then when I got together with my friends we would talk about the latest cartoon episode. It was such great fun. We didn't have the options to watch it whenever like the kids have today.

Now Scooby-Doo can be found everywhere, any time of the day. From satellite and cable TV, to DVD and the internet, kids can find Scooby-doo any time they want. In fact, my children watch the same episodes of Scooby-doo over and over again. They love everything Scooby-doo from stuffed animals, action figures to pajamas.

My kids watched Scooby Doo 2 just the other day. I guess some shows will never go out of style, but get better with age.

I think that this show has remained so popular because it really has no violence in it. It has mystery, a little scary, a lot of funny, but really no violence to speak of. People really want to just relax and see some good old fashioned humor.
