Senile Warts

Updated on December 1, 2014

Age Related Warts

Everyone is growing older and when you pass 50 you really begin to feel the change in your body. Limbs don't seem to work as well as they once did, the brain slows down, the spine is weaker and suddenly your skin is showing signs of aging. There are now wrinkles where once there was smooth flesh, the jowls are showing, the chin doubles and the hair thins. All this despite the care and attention you apply daily to your body preserving routines.

Yes, there is Botox and face lifts, liposuction and other things to reshape the body and iron out the wrinkles but what really happens to the skin? Growing older is no fun for the body as everything is changing and people are facing their mortality and wondering about other things, such as what happens after death.

My experience of reincarnation may help some to understand. That is why I have attached a link to my e-book.

They Just Appear

One day you might notice a bit of a scab on your abdomen or some other part of the body. It feels a bit odd but you take no notice. Then one day there is another somewhere else, then another and another. Soon you might have them on your limbs, face (as theold gentleman in the picture has), back and elsewhere, as shown in the photo here.

Called seborrhoeic keratoses they are generally harmless and cause little problem except if they become itchy, in which case scratching can be a hindrance. Ranging in colour from light brown to black they become unsightly on the face and exposed areas of the limbs but they can be removed by cryosurgery, which involves little more than a squirt or two of liquid nitrogen from a can.

Skin lightening is this Company's business and they are very good at it. In 1999 it set about discovering a formulae that was safe, effective, easy to use and powerful. You can read about the research behind their product, check out the testimonials of satisfied customers and learn more about the company and the wonderful help that many have received from using it. It is something the executives are extremely proud of since its launch in 2003.

This Company offers just about everything for maintaining good skin care ranging from anti-aging creams to products for basic skin care practices. They also supply a range of vitamins, perfumes and cosmetics to help with the on-going care you require to look your best and as young and beautiful as possible.

Removal of Senile Warts

Dr. Danielle McLellan, MD, of British Columbia published a paper in the Medical Journal, CMAJ.JAMC in September, 1947, in which he described his accidental discovery of removing these unsightly warts. It involved zinc oxide adhesive which was left on the patient for 5 weeks with astounding results. The warts were attached to the adhesive and the skin clean of them.

As the document is old there may be some contemporary updates to look for, but it seems like a good thing to try.

The cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen), however, is reliable, quick and rather cheap and can be done by the GP in a few seconds. A blister forms soon after and it can take up to a week for it to fall off. There is no scarring and usually no need for a second go but some warts may need repeat treatments before they are removed completely.

Other warts can be removed with simple home remedies as in the following video

I hate them. But, as BloomingRose says below, not if there is the slightest hint of pain. They are able to be hidden beneath clothing, for now.

  • Rose Jones 4 years ago

But not if there is the least bit of pain.

  • Maribel Forayo 4 years ago from Philippines

I have lots of tag warts - I had them burned but they grew again. How I wish to get rid of it but I don't wanna have it cauterized - it's still painful despite the topical anesthesia

I would remove them as I get them. Vanity .. I guess.

  • momsfunny 5 years ago

It's best if they disappear but eventually we have to live with it as it is part of the aging process.

  • kimbesa 5 years ago from USA

Depends on where they are, but in general I'd like them gone.

  • Peggy Hazelwood 5 years ago from Desert Southwest, U.S.A.

I think they are distracting if they're on the face or other really noticeable place. Fortunately, no warts here (yet).

Warts make me feel like my body is molding and mildewing as my Stepmother used to say.

  • Tony Payne 5 years ago from Southampton, UK

I have had these appear in the last 5 years, some are rather rubbery and annoying, and some are incredibly itchy. I also have some skin tags which get itchy, but have managed to remove the worst of them myself and they haven't come back so far.

Excellent information, it's often hard to come by and to know exactly how to treat these.

  • anonymous 6 years ago

I think I would go for removing them.

  • Paul 6 years ago from Liverpool, England

If unhsightly and psychologically disturbing, get them removed

  • Nathalie Roy 6 years ago from France (Canadian expat)

I would have them removed if I ever have some, specially in the face.

I guess that it is all a part of aging. My husband worked out walking in the woods for years so he has a number of skin warts and skin tags. I sure would not want to have to cut his hair for fear of chopping one off, but I love him, and they are a part of him. He'll probably have even more as he ages.

  • June Parker 5 years ago from New York

I haven't gotten any senile warts yet, (yet being the keyword here) but I think if I did get them I would be inclined to have them removed if I had insurance that would pay for the surgery. If I had to pay high dollar for the removal, I would probably l would probably learn to live with them.

  • anonymous 5 years ago

Not that they are bothersome! Guess I can live with them. :)

In Pursuit of Body Beautiful

There are so many things that people want these days to improve their image that it is hard to keep up with them. Technology and science continue to surprise with the products that aim to satisfy. While it is hard for some to imagine the lengths people will go to for their image there are a lot of victims who want simple work at home solutions.

The followng products offer that kind of support.

It is not something that I would normally add much weight to because the many products claiming to remove or check cellulite normally don't work. tt is different, however, when a well known TV doctor, Dr. Oz, not only supports it but gets behind this product then one has to take notice. He is quoted on the web site: "Dr Oz states that the key ingredients (which are found in Procellix) break down fat and is probably one of the BEST ingredients to look for in a cellulite cream." There is a lot more here to read before you buy the product but it seems that it has achieved its goal.

This Company has named its products correctly, They truly are an inspiration and it offers you a free trial to prove it. You can get the $99 cream for just $2 so you can prove their claims before committing yourself.

It removes dark undereye cirles, puffiness and redness, fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, blotchiness and large pores. Well, just about anything your face is doing that needs correcting, so it seems, Check out the web site for more info,

Skin Care

The one thing that stands out the most about aging is the change to skin. Sometimes it creeps up gradually, at other time it can change overnight, or so it seems. My own skin care treatment started when a teenager and simple household products like sugar was used to remove dead cells from the surface of my face. Exercises of the muscles were a daily routine and cold cream at night was a normal ritual. As I aged my skin has stood up to the test of time and regular comments from others confirm the fact that my appearance is that of a younger person,

People today need expensive products to fulfill the same roles and, like most things, they have lost the will to try basic solutiions for their problems. The results are in and now ever more expensive cosmetics are purchased to enhance, beautify and alter one's appearance.

All too often people now turn to plastic surgery and other solutions to get the look they want for themselves, Well, before you go down that track try out these products and see what the alternatives can do for you.

Company's product does everything for a natural younger and healthier skin. It uses proven, advanced scientific formulations and the best ingredients available for the effect it provides. The material is fragrance and paraben free with no artificial colors. It also does not test on animals.

Company is so sure of its products that it has an empty bottle refund policy. Its natural ingredients are designed to brighten the skin and reduce discolouratiions from age spots, liver spots, melasma and acne scars. Its exclusive formula works for both men and women and it promises that the natural ingredients will do the job of making your skin lighter and providing a healthy glow. It works on all types of discolourations.

This is a great product that might help those who suffer from skin problems, such as discoloration. Works on oily or normal skin

Skin Care for Babies

You can never start too young to look after the skin of your children, As they grow you can easily pick out the ones that have had good care from birth and those who have been left to the ravages of nature. But it is not all about the external care as what a child eats as a baby will tell a story throughout their lives,

Vegetables, fruit, balanced meals, little to no junk food and certainly little or no sugar or salt will have untold benefits on the bones and muscles a child develops. It is also the brain that needs special nourishment and protection. Bright children usually have great health to support their endeavours while those who struggle with health issues can easily fall by the way side.

Fussy parents will want to know about the products offered below.

Company supplies oils, shampoos, body washes and eye treatment nutrients. With so many products now containing toxic chemicals that can greatly damage your baby's skin it is refreshing to know that these products contain only the best natural ingredients and are guaranteed safe.

Mederma Skin Care for Scars, 1.76 oz (50 g)
Mederma Skin Care for Scars, 1.76 oz (50 g)

A great investment to soften and transform scars. This grease less, topical gel works on scars left by surgery, burns, acne and even stretch marks. Its a great addition to the beauty care cabinet

Care for Hair, Hands and Feet

There is limited help to prevent disastrous things happening with your hands, hair and feet except by how you protect and nurture them throughout your life. Split nails was one of my great concerns until plantar faciitis struck my left foot, and there simply is nothing to help it. That reinforces the need, therefore, to protect these inportant aspects of our body,

Fungus in nails and the creation of worts are a real worry, But so too is damage from acrylics, such as nail polish remover, and the impact of modern living, Dr Oz demonstrated the effect of ripping off false nails when he separated them under a microsope. The nail underneath was ripped, scarred and open to all kinds of infection and would take weeks to heal. So if you must use polish, chemicals and other stuff then try these naturals products for your health's sake.

Company started with its nail strenghtener which was originally developed to prevent cracking and damage to the hooves of expensive racehorses. That was over 30 years ago and it has developed great products for nails, hands and feet since that time. There are so many great products on offer that you simply should click over to their site using the banner to see them.

Many hate their curly or fuzzy look when it comes to hair. This Company provides a natural relaxant that straighten curly, kinky or wavy hair without using harsh chemicals. It allows hair to grown without scalp burning or other side effects. It does not cause breakage or hair loss. Enjoy healthy hair that does what you want it too without the worry that other product that use chemicals may cause,.

Care for the Aged, or others

Seniors often require more care than you can give, If they are handicpped, have trouble looking after themselves or simply in need of companionship there are people out there to help you,

The following companies are highly recommended for services they provide

Company has reliable carers on hand to help you. They are background and reference checked before hiring and satisfaction is tested with clients who use them. You can also get drivers to help with transport and other care programs are offered, such as tutoring, baby sitting and so on. Special carers also help with autism, ADD, ADHD and other special needs.

What an excellent and practical subject to set our minds at rest on. When we see them, we have options for removing them. My sister said her doctor identified one growth on her back as a carbuncle which she would scratch off but it would return. He said there was no harm in what she was doing as long as it didn't get infected and it just happened that the next time she was in the tub soaking, she scraped it off never to return. Guess she got a core out as well. I do remember seeing so many elderly folks with warts when I was little but I guess more people are having them removed now. I can see that warts on the face would make one very uncomfortable.
