shampoo and rinse

worry free garden shampoo

1/2 c chopped, bruised herbs like chamomile, rosemary, lavender, rose petals,

thyme, sage, lemon thyme, or lemon verbena

3 1/2 c boiling water

2 1/2 tblsp grated glycerine or castile soap

1 beaten egg

glass pot

wire whisk

place herbs in the pot. cover with boiling water. cover. set for 2 hours. starin. add soap. stir until dissolves. removes from heat. allow to cool. use whisk. add egg. mix. pour in bottle. shake weel before using.

after shampoo rinse

1/2 cup dried thyme

1/2 c dried lemon verbena

1/4 c dried rosemary

4 c vinegar

1 c water

old shampoo or conditioner bottles


glass pot


use blender to grind herbs into a fine powder. place in the pot. add vinegar. allow to simmer on low heat for 15 -20 minutes. remove from heat. cool, stir in water. funnel in bottle.
