What is a shoe charm you ask?

A shoe charm is a cool litte do-dad that fits in the holes of your Crocs, Cali Gears and any other shoes that have holes and there are many. You will not believe all the styles and choices that are out there - it is overwhelming. I am overwhelmed after making this site. There are even bracelets and hats and more you can add these too. I know there is something for everyone and every some very unique ones too!!! So dare to be different.

Shrinky Dinks Foot Fad Charms can be attached ANYWHERE! Loop on jeans, purses, back packs, swim bags, etc. Share the fun with others and be Creative! Any graphic or photo can be transformed into a customized Deco Charm!! That is sooo COOL!!!

Make your own Shoe Charms

This is so easy to do. All you need to do is buy some of the plugs - they are available on Ebay - and also below I have some listings you can click on and purchase.

All you do if find something you like - maybe rhinestone shapes, buttons, shrinky dinks you made - really anything you can glue onto the plug. Then just glue and let it dry and add it to your shoe and show off. Can it be any easier?

EASY Flip Flop Craft

Decorate these summer flip-flops with colorful buttons and feathers - fun crafts that kids can make.

What you'll need:

Pair of flip-flop sandals

Colorful feathers, an old feather boa, or various colored buttons

White craft glue

How to make it:

Button flip-flops:

Using white craft glue, start in the center of the flip-flop strap and attach buttons, one after another.

Allow the glue to dry for an hour or two before wearing.

Feather flip-flops:

Start at the bottom of one of the straps and glue feathers in place, one by one, working your way up toward the center. Repeat this process for the other strap, meeting in the center.

Fill in any gaps with excess feathers.

Feathers can be trimmed with scissors as you go, if needed.

Allow the glue to dry for an hour or two before wearing.

Tips:

Flip-flops are available at most discount department stores, drug stores and even some craft stores. Flip-flops in craft stores are generally about $2.00 per pair and come in a variety of colors.

Feathers in a multitude of colors are available in bags from any craft store. You can also find them at discount department stores but the selection is usually not as large.

We do not recommend hot glue for this project as it comes loose from the plastic too easily. White craft glue will hold better.

Loved this lens, and I learned something. I don't get out much and I don't have daughters, so sometimes I'm in the dark about certain things. Thanks for filling me in!

Excellent lens -- although since I cannot wear them I have to admit that I did not read every word! It looks very nice, well put together. Have you heard the story of the Mom who 'invented' the jibbitz?Brenda
