What happens when you use a product with 11 different amino acids, 25 natural oils and extracts, and zero suds to wash your hair? Nothing short of a miracle for your hair!

Starting in 1993, hairdresser Chaz Dean played the mad scientist and after seven years of research, came up with a simply amazing little product called WEN Cleansing Conditioner. Have you seen Alyssa Milano's gorgeous hair on the WEN infomercial? That's WEN!

Why is WEN different? It doesn't contain all the harsh chemicals in traditional shampoos and conditioners that make your hair vulnerable to breakage and color stripping, You know the drill, you go to the salon for your gorgeous color, and after four to six weeks of using your expensive salon conditioner and shampoo, your color is all faded out and back you go for another hair coloring adventure. Did you know that it doesn't have to be that way?

I looked at WEN for a couple of years before actually jumping in and buying it. There was one Chaz Dean live presentation on QVC that was my final tipping point to buy the product. He had colored the hair of two models with some pretty vivid red hair color a couple of days beforehand. On air, he shampooed one model's hair with a retail shampoo promising it protected color, and the other model with WEN. When the white hair towels came off, the model with the WEN had a clean white towel. The other model with the retail shampoo had a bright red towel!! That did it for me, I was convinced.

At the time I bought WEN I was at that point of damaged hair where you think, "It's time to cut this off and start over." When I would pick up a section of hair in my hand, it would stand straight out! Zero flexibility, towels full of broken hair, and lots of de-frizzing product needed to calm down all the "fur." My hair was awful! After the first use of WEN, I could tell my hair was already getting better. It was an instant, very visible change. My hair continued to improve as I used WEN and eventually I was able to grow it out to its current below shoulder length. WEN was simply life-changing for me and my hair!

A few years back, Chaz added a new, what I consider "luxury" version of WEN called Six Thirteen. I still haven't figured out what that stands for... all I care about is how it works! Using it the past few months has made my hair even better!

WEN will free up a lot of bathroom shelf real estate too, since it replaces your shampoo and conditioner, your detangler and your leave in conditioner! It does it all. One product in the shower for your hair - that's it!

In July 2013, I had my hair professionally colored. It has not been colored since and it is exactly the same color it was then! I've included a photo of my hair just after getting it colored. I'll get around to getting my color done sometime soon and I'm sure my stylist will be shocked to see her original work still as pretty as it was when it was done last year!

If you have damaged hair, dry hair, or hair that just won't behave, please try WEN. I promise you will see and feel a real difference with the first use, and continued use will make your hair get better! WEN is designed for people of all ethnicities and for all hair types.
