My personal super trendy summer clothing list!

Updated on July 7, 2012

I love fashion and spend a lot of time looking at the newest fashion trends / items. Deep down, every woman loves fashion, new clothing, accessories, handbags and shoes. With the summer almost here or already here for some lucky ladies, I have listed some new items for 2012's summer season. Hope you will enjoy my list and add more gorgeous pieces to your wardrobe!

Split neck color block shirt – This is one of my favorite tops for the summer season. Unlike most shirts, this one is slightly on the thicker side. In my personal opinion, it adds to the quality of the blouse. Color blocking is still hot in fashion and a combination like this one is unique plus sexy.

Thin bright color blouse – Bright neon colors are everywhere for this year's summer season. This blouse has a very feminine cut combined with the bright blue color that's perfect for any day or event. Chiffon material tops, shorts and skirts are everywhere in fashion. You should definitely pick up a few chiffon items for the upcoming summer months.

Colorful mid-length shorts – Those that read my hubs regularly know that I am into classic, refined and feminine fashion for women. Very short shorts are mostly for teenagers; I opted for this colorful mid-length instead for some more coverage. These shorts are highly recommended for those that are slightly older.

Cozy sweater wrap in gorgeous colors and pattern – Even in summer, not everyday is as hot as the scorching desert. When you are at the windy beach, it is recommended to carry a sweater wrap to wear as soon as the sun goes down. This gorgeous wrap is beautiful and unique.

Crochet back tank top – Tank tops are everywhere in summer. When you want to stand out from others, you should select a tank top that is not commonly seen. This crochet back tank top can easily set you apart.

Ethnic shirt in gorgeous print – Those that like ethnic bohemian style will love this shirt. You should complete the look with a pair of skinny pants (light colors like khaki work best here) and a pair of high heel sandals.

Super feminine see through top with square neckline – Every woman dreams that she will be a princess. This chiffon see through top fits the bill perfectly. The square neckline is flattering for many face shapes (except square face shapes). To make the top even more amazing, you should get your hair done with big waves to complete the romantic princess look.

Geometric dress – This dress is light and perfect for hot summer days. However, this particular type of pattern is only flattering for a tall lady. As a rule of thumb, petite women should wear small patterns while taller women should wear bigger patterns.

Loose chambray shirt – Chambray is a material that is lighter than denim. If you love the look of denim but not its texture, the chambray shirt is perfect for you. Chambray has been very popular in fashion lately and every designer has his/her own versions of the Chambray shirt.

Silk dress shirt – It is very important to keep yourself cool in summer because hot weather can cause heat related illnesses. Silk is a delicate fabric that helps you breathe and keep your body cool. However, you have to iron it every time you wear it because it tends to wrinkle easily.

Pink princess tube dress for a very hot summer day – One of the most loved pieces in the summer is the dress. It is very easy to wear a dress because you don't have to worry much about mixing and matching. This pink princess tube dress will look great with a pair of flip flops or sandals. Sometimes in fashion, less is more.

Vibrant red romper fit for a diva – Rompers are another fashionable item for the summer. This vibrant red romper is fit for a diva. Those that are outgoing should sport this bright red romper with a pair of natural leather flat sandals for a effortless chic look.

Bell bottom / flare pants – Another great piece for taller ladies. The bell bottom or flare pants are made for women over 5 feet 7 inches in height. Even for women that are a lot taller than average, bell bottom pants must be paired with a pair of platform heels.

The high low shirt – This basic white shirt has a slight twist; it has a high low hem which is one of the most popular styles in fashion right now. In fact, just about anywhere you go, there are high low style items in the store. Aside from shirts, skirts are also done in the high low hem. Personally, I think a high low hem shirt looks amazing with a pair of shorts.
