Buy Trendy Athletic Shoes
...and still have enough cash left for cute workout gear
The best neon tennis shoes for women don't have to drain your bank account. Look for deals on trendy kicks at the mall, your favorite online shoe stores, and Amazon.com. Buy cheap athletic shoes and spend your extra dough on matching yoga pants or a bright yellow hoodie.
Working out is much more fun when you're wearing fluorescent orange sneakers or bright pink shoes, right? Right?! Hey, it was worth a try.
I currently work out (by "work out", I mean walk slowly around my neighborhood) wearing a pair of black Asics that have neon green, bright blue, and hot pink detailing. They are super cute and comfy, and they go pretty well with my yoga shorts and sweats.
I've been wearing the same sneakers for about a year or two, but I need to get new ones soon. It's bad for your feet to wear the same shoes for too long, especially once the bottoms of the sneakers start to get worn down. It can cause back pain and even increase your chances of getting an injury. Not cool.
My ex replaces his athletic shoes every 3 months or so, but he walks/jogs 5 to 7 miles a day, sometimes more. If you're logging in the miles like he is, you might need new shoes every few months. Keep in mind that I'm not a podiatrist and am just sharing info from my personal life.
Anyway, are you ready to go shopping? Good, because I've got plenty of awesome shoes listed below. If I forgot anything that belongs on this lens, please let me know. I'll be happy to add it in.
Tips for Buying Neon Sneakers
- Choose shoes in an appropriate width. Don't try to squeeze wide feet in Pumas. Even if they're super cute.
- Bottoms make a difference. If you jog or run often, pay attention to the soles of your potential athletic shoes.
- Replace your neon sneakers as needed. Nothing good lasts forever.
Neon New Balance Running Shoes - A nice option for gals with wider feet
New Balance has spent more than 100 years developing top-notch shoes for men and women, and they've been putting out some pretty incredible neon sneakers over the last few years. As a woman with wide feet, I can personally tell you that New Balance offers some comfy shoes for women with larger tootsies. Even when the size doesn't specify that the shoe is for wider widths, I've still found that NB sneakers fit better than Nikes or Adidas.
Back in the days when I ran track and cross country, I was all about New Balance shoes. They were a must-have for runners. They still are.
Comfy and fashionable. They appear to be gender-neutral shoes even though they're listed as women's.
Who doesn't love orange? I like the gray shade a lot. It's a nice change from the basic black or white that you usually see in shoes. I plan on buying these.
Skechers Jumps on the Rainbow Bandwagon - Bright Shoes for Teens and College Students
Introduced in 1992, Skechers is the new kid on the block in a sea of experienced shoe companies. That doesn't make them any less cool, though. Celebs heavily endorse these affordable sneakers, and women everywhere love the platform soles and colorful designs made by this popular company. Check out the unique pattern on the Confetti Skechers - I've never seen anything like them.
I'm reminded of birthday cake every time I look at these colorful shoes.
Brightly Colored Nikes - These sneakers look great on the basketball court or in the classroom
You can never go wrong with a classic company like Nike. This respectable company has been encouraging athletes to "just do it" for years, and it's easy to see why runners everywhere love these stylish shoes. Experiment with bold blue fabric or rich black leather and pick a pair of colorful Nikes in your size for your next big game or a relaxing day at the mall.
Even little kids like Nikes. I remember the day my daughter came home from preschool in tears because she wasn't wearing the right style of Nikes. Kids these days, I tell ya.
I absolute love the neon orange and white combo on these Nikes.
Bright Nikes Are Part of This Lovely Lady's Outfit of the Day
Check out the cute Nikes on her feet. She has a very pleasant voice and the video is easy to follow. I don't know about you, but I'm picky about my YouTube videos. If I don't like a person's voice, I'll click out of it immediately.
ASICS Brighten up Black Yoga Pants - Check out these awesome kicks
ASICS rock. I bought my first pair a few months ago, and they feel great each time I wear them. I'm a flip flops and sweat pants kinda girl, so I never thought I'd truly enjoy wearing real shoes. Then I discovered my neon ASICS, and I've been a loyal wearer ever since. The gel insole is what did it for me. Try a pair of these comfy neon tennis shoes and let me know what you think.
Blue and black always makes me happy.
The Best Pumas in Bright Colors - You'll love these cool sneakers
I love Pumas. I shouldn't love them because my feet are wide and they're made for women with narrow soles, but hey, whatever. Over the years I've bought Pumas in every color you can imagine, including black and hot pink. I wonder what I ever did with those sneakers. They seem to have disappeared during my last move.
I love the shape of these shoes. Classic Pumas never seem to fit my foot right, even though I keep trying to make them work for me.
I used to own these awesome Pumas. So cute and went great with jeans. Some tennis shoes are too bulky.
