Thirty-One Zipper Pouch

Updated on July 5, 2013

The Best Zippered Pouch Around!

Who doesn't need a good-sized zippered pouch? Seriously . . . there are so many things you can do with a little bag like this. A better question might be, what could you not carry in it? It has water-resistant lining, it's a great size, and the zipper is good and strong. If you have never heard of Thirty-One, it is a company that sells all kinds of sacks, totes, purses, bags, organizational tools, and more! I purchase my Thirty-One items from a friend who lives down the street from me, and I can't live without the products. But this pouch was such a favorite of mine that I purchased two of them, and have considered purchasing even more! Read on to find out why I love it.

SPECS - How does the Zipper Pouch measure up?

As you can see from my picture, this pouch is actually bigger than you would think. When I first started shopping Thirty-One products, I almost looked right over this little gem. Due to the name of it, I imagined something that was about the size of a large pencil case. But when I saw one in person at a Thirty-One party, I exclaimed, "Oh, wow. Is THAT the Zipper Pouch?!"

It measures: 9 inches high, a little over 12 inches wide, and 2.5 inches deep. Now, if that's too big for you, they do make a Mini Zipper Pouch that is about 5.5 inches high and 7 inches wide. It is available in thermal, too, just like the regular-sized one. (The picture above is of one of the larger pouches.)

You can stuff a good many things in it. Like what, you ask?

Lots of Ways to Use It!

The first one I bought was this one with robots. It's for my son, obviously, and not for me. We store craft items in it like pencils, crayons, paints, stamps, stickers, and scissors. Well, one day, I was getting ready to go out of town when I realized that my cosmetic bag was substandard. Now, Thirty-One sells a couple of bags that are specifically made to be cosmetic bags, and they look wonderful with their clear, plastic compartments to keep toothbrush away from jewelry away from face powder. And in fact, I have purchased one since originally writing this review. But the price of this Zipper Pouch was awfully tempting at just $15! I had previously been using a simple bag not unlike this one, so I knew that would work just fine for me. Plus, I could not resist the beautiful butterfly on the front of the Lotsa Dots patterned Zipper Pouch. And I must say, it has worked very well as a cosmetic bag. As things have leaked (mini-mouthwash or mini-shampoo) inside, I have been able to simply wipe the white lining clean with a damp cloth. Even though I have since purchased one of the cosmetic bags, I still use both!

Ideas for using the Zipper Pouch:

Cosmetic bag

Craft organization for kids

Office supply organizer for a desk drawer

Quick Storage inside a larger bag

Jewelry

Other small accessories

Or . . . get the thermal variety for lunches or snacks!

Zipper Pouches - Find patterns no longer available!

I highly recommend finding a Thirty-One lady, because they provide wonderful customer service! When you order directly from one of them, you can have your items monogrammed, as well.

But Amazon is a great place to find some awesome discontinued patterns, too!!
