Timex women's 1440 sports digital watch t5j151

Updated on March 26, 2012

Belonging to the Timex 1440 watch series, the Timex Women’s Digital Watch T5J151 is one of the mid-sized digital sports watches that comes in a pretty elegant design. This watch makes use of the digital quartz movement and uses this to power its many features. It also has a calendar and daily alarm features for those who want to be reminded of an activity or who only want to be waken up at a particular time. The dual time zone display shows both your local time and a second one from a time zone that you have originally set it for. It has a readable digital gray acrylic dial with Indiglo Night Light that you can use to light up the display in the dark. This Indigo Night Light uses Timex’s patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. This technology consumes less battery power compared to other watches’ illumination system. You do not need to change your battery as often as the others. The watch’s display is quite clear although they will never have the clarity of the more expensive LED digital watch. The LED uses Light Emitting Diode digital modules for a brighter watch display that does not strain the eyes.

The Timex T5J151 has a gray face plate, stationary resin bezel, buckle clasp and comfortable polyurethane strap with a tapered design. This watch comes with an elegant attractive pink and silver 34-mm resin watch case. This makes it attractive to ladies from teens to senior citizens. The side buttons are easy to access. Users have attested that the watch is very easy to use.

It has a 24 hour chronograph and a 24 hour countdown timer. However, this feature is not recommended for the serious or experienced runner since the watch will no longer record seconds after 30 minutes. Seconds are crucial in timing a runner’s performance. The best selling sports watch Timex Ironman would definitely be a better choice for this kind of timing that is required in sports activities. These watches have a lap memory from 50 to 150, 100 hour chronograph with lap and split options and lap training log storage.

This watch has a water resistance range of up to 50 meters or 165 feet. The face does not cloud up even if it is used for various activities that would involve getting it wet like washing the dishes, taking showers and even swimming.

The Timex Women’s Digital Watch T5J151 can easily be purchased in Walmart Timex displays, Macy’s and other watch stores or watch sections of department stores. They are also available for viewing and purchase in several online stores including the Timex online store. They are very reasonably priced at $15.

Timex, being synonymous with durability, guarantees the Timex Women’s Digital Watch T5J151 is as durable as all the other watches. This watch comes with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects by the Timex Corporation. The warranty does not include strap, band, crystal and battery and defects that were caused from having the watched serviced by entities other than Timex Corporation. After all, a watch by Timex is guaranteed to last for years.
