'Tis The Season for Love Quotes Scarves

Updated on April 21, 2014

Loves Quotes Scarves All Year Round

I feel unusually lucky when I find a piece of apparel that has a proper place in my wardrobe for three out of the four seasons, but Loves Quotes scarves even surpass that. They are never switched out during the seasonal closet change from spring/summer to winter/ fall, though they are always taken off the shelf when I pack because they make a great travel accessory. See why Loves Quotes scarves are not only a favorite of mine, but a favorite of the celebrity world as well.

Love Quotes Scarves

A Reason for Every Season

Simplicity is too often understated, but this is the essence of Love Quotes Scarves, which are both attention-grabbing and entirely elegant. They were dreamed up by native New Yorker Phyllis Wiener after she “discovered a factory that produced unique fabrics that could be made into luxurious scarves, warps, and sarongs at affordable prices and in a gorgeous range of colors” on her travels. At the beginning the scarves were only sold to a private market, but Wiener expanded her business and has now “cornered the high end scarf market,” attests fashionista Kimberly Joy.

The Shop Opal blog touts the scarf as “soft” and “subtle,” and as the perfect complement to any outfit. The page also features Kim Kardashian, Demi Moore, Lauren Conrad and many more celebs with luxurious Love Quotes scarves draped over their bodies in a variety of colors, some muted and some rich. The photographs show the versatility of the scarf, which can be loosely wrapped around the neck and paired with a smart jacket or flirtatiously hugging the waist at the beach as a sarong. The variability is not only attributed to the pattern and material, but also to the large size – so like with infinity dresses, you can feel free to get creative. While Joy defines Love Quotes merchandise as “great transition pieces between winter and spring” on Ezine Articles, the scarves can definitely be worn all year round.

Of course, different colors are better for different seasons, or even different locales. The names such as cheery "Coral Reef" and fiesta-like "Riviera" should give you a clue. For instance, these scarves work well when visiting my parents in Florida. But sophisticated Mochaccino (as featured in the introduction photo), Vetiver and Cocoshell are more appropriate for autumns in Aspen, for instance.

Love Quotes scarves would make the perfect gift for a friend that has been bitten by the travel bug since they are lightweight and can double as a travel blanket. Such a friend would also be delighted to know that 10% of net profits goes to international children’s charities so you can feel guilt-free about buying one for yourself, too. You’d be in good company since “the collection continually evolves with new colors, fabrics and styles,” and “Today, The Love Quotes >'About Us'

page notes that its products are "a favorite among Hollywood’s A list, can be seen in major magazines and are sold in over 1500 specialty stores worldwide.”
