Updated on July 27, 2014

Top Rated Dive Watches under $500

A dive watch is the perfect choice as a gift for the adventurer types or just a necessary accessory for people who enjoy scuba diving and exploring the underwater world.

The best dive watches feature at least a water resistance of 1.0 MPa (10 atm) or an equivalence of 330 feet (100 meters).

A typical diving watch will have water resistance ranging from 200 up to 500 meters. Since technology evolved so much, even greater depths have been reached, so you can take your watch even further down without it stopping to work.

Typical movements that power such watches are the quartz type and the automatic self-wind watch type.

Oh the Venom Chronograph - one of the best Invicta has to offer from their luxury watches line. Nice choice. Too bad you couldn't include the Bolt Zeus - although it's about a hundred bucks more....
