Ugg Boots: Are They Worth The Money?

Updated on October 31, 2013

When you live in Minnesota, you know that the cold, wet weather is inevitable. There's no way to avoid the frigid winters, but there is a way to embrace it and make it work. One of those ways that I have found is my Ugg Classic Tall Boots.

I first received my boots as a Christmas gift from my parents in 2007. Now it's 2013 and I still have them, six years later. They obviously aren't in as good of shape as they used to be, but they are still hanging in there and they are still one of my favorite pairs of boots!

Why do I love them so much? Well if you read that last paragraph, you know that they are great quality and they really last! The old-age saying of, "You get what you pay for" is absolutely true here. Not only that, but they are incredibly warm and cozy. The Twinface sheepskin interior material keeps your feet warm, even in the coldest of temperatures... Plus, I never even wear socks with them! It's like wearing warm, all-encompassing slippers around town (or back in 2007, around campus).

The boots also go with every outfit. I have worn them to the gym (not to work out, but to go to the gym) and I've also worn them out to dinner as well. They're suitable for nearly any occasion and they look good no matter what you pair them with! Granted, they probably aren't the best choice to go with a dress, but naturally that choice is yours.

When the time comes that I must say goodbye to my Uggs, I will definitely be purchasing another pair. I have never found another boot that I've loved as much as these!

Of course, if you're going to spend the money on high-quality footwear, then you'll want to take good care of them. Invest in waterproof spray and this sheepskin care kit.

Do you own a pair of Uggs?

Don't take my word for it. Watch more reviews from other Ugg wearers and hear what they have to say.

Thanks for stopping by this lens! I'd love to hear your feedback, please leave a comment below!

Wanted to buy a pair in Australia, but I didn't have room in my suitcase which was a bummer. Cute!

I don't have a pair but I would love one - they sound so comfy I would probably wear them every day in the winter!

I'm in love with my Uggs as well. I have a little pair of slip-ons that I got on clearance at Von Maur and I never thought I'd wear them as much as I do. They're just so comfy!
