Unique Purses From India

You won't find designer purses in my closet. The simple reason is I got tired a long time ago of seeing the same old same old. I am lucky enough to have a family member who travels regularly to India. He brought back my first purse and I have fallen in love ever since.

Now I have a collection of beautiful unique purses for all occasions. Some are decorated with intricate beadwork. Others have bold designs in brilliant colors. All of them have a special flair which fits my personality. I find myself loving the over-the-shoulder type as it provides practicality for someone who is more than likely to put down a handbag and forget it. There is the other beautiful necessary known as having a bag big enough to hold what I need when I need it.

If you are not sure where to start with branching out into your own India purse collection then these are some of my favorites to get you started. From clutch size to tote, there is something unique for everyone.

My favorite on-the-out-and-about bag is a shoulder handbag. They are easy to pack in suitcases. The zipper feature acts a deterrent to people reaching in and allow for easy handling. I own a variety simply because I feel one is never enough.

Every woman should own a clutch handbag. They come with the option of being a shoulder bag or just an elegant handheld accent to an evening dress. This one is perfect for the little black dress we all love so much.

Sling bags are perfect for carrying books around campus or notes for work. Even small laptops can fit comfortably within the right size. They fit the need while still standing out.

I sport the sling bag with pride. When a purse is beautiful and has just enough room, it is the way to go.

I love all of my India shoulder bags for the space they provide. I use them when shopping, especially in markets. My purchases fit in my bag so I can enjoy what I'm doing without being weighed down by a bunch of bags.

I love the patchwork style so much I own several of this type. The strap is long enough to wear comfortably over the shoulder making for easy carrying. I like using them when going out places with friends. They are small enough to not overwhelm and really and to an outfit.

There are times when all I want is a large tote I can use for a carry-on or several nights away from home. I love the extra zipper compartment and zippered pockets inside. They make it perfect for organizing.
