Which Long Lasting Lipstick Really Works?
My Personal Experiment With Long Lasting Lipsticks - The Results Are In!
It's a beautiful thing when a product promises something and actually works! This is the case with ONE of the latest new lipsticks I've tried which promises to last all day. Now that I've found that "miracle" product, I'll be buying more. I'll use those, along with my treasured collection of Fran Wilson Moodmatcher Lipsticks, which in my opinion are still unbeatable.
There is nothing more aggravating than a product that advertises something and does not deliver. I experienced this many times with several lipsticks I tried which promise to last for many hours - even 14 or 24 hours! They simply don't do what they say, and I'm hoping to spare you the trouble and expense with this review!
Here are all the "long lasting" lipsticks I've tried the past few months. And the winner is...
Cover Girl's Outlast!
This product suggests you apply the color, wait til it dries, then apply the gloss. Then you are supposed to reapply the gloss as needed throughout the day. This method WORKS. I still had color on my lips when I removed my makeup that night. Wow!
Here I Am Wearing Outlast

This lipstick is a winner! Although I do not care for the fact that it requires two tubes (color and gloss), I love how it works and feels... and lasts!
Here Are The Lipsticks I Tried That Did NOT Work As Promised! - While They All Looked And Felt Nice, They Did Not Deliver The Long-Lasting Promise.

A Word About Choosing A Lipstick Color...
Think about your color season. Don't know it? Contact me through the form above right and I'll do an online color analysis for you free!
Want a subtle but polished look? Go for lip color as close to your natural lip color as you can.
Want to make a statement? Try reds, burgundies or hot pinks!
You can't paint on a cracked canvas! The skin on your lips dies every day and you need to remove that flaky dead skin to reveal the clean newer cells underneath. Try Beauticontrol's Lip Apeel exfoliator and lip balm. Smokers should use daily!
