Why everyone loves the LeSportsac Kasey
I don't usually like to see my outfits and accessories coming and going, but in this case I make an exception. How can I blame the rest of the world for loving, and using, the LeSportsac Kasey bag as much as I do?
This cross-body cutie is the best-designed bag I've ever owned. So much so that it has almost cured me of "overpacking disease" when I'm out on errands or traveling.
The Kasey has 3 wonderful compartments that fit more than you'd think. In the main, inner one I put my wallet, a comb, a small pack of tissues, car and house keys, and my Ray-Bans in their case. In the bottom outer zipper compartment I put a couple more beauty items, like tinted lip balms or an anti-blemish concealer, if I'm going to be out all day and want to touch that up. In the middle outer zipper section I put my phone.
This bag holds all of that with ease and can even fit a bit more. A train schedule, pen & notebook or small novel have been known to make its way into my Kasey too. All of that inside an 8-by-9.25-inch bag that never looks too big or bulky.
More reasons to love the Kasey:
~ A long, sturdy, detachable, totally adjustable cross-body strap.
~ Dozens of colors & patterns to choose from, from solid brights & neutrals to sweet vintagey florals to metallics to modern neons and illustrated looks. I have two Kaseys -- a black "patent" and a Southwestern multicolor print in colors similar to the "Giddy Up" design shown here. The black goes with everything, obviously, but the patterned bag's color palette looks cool with a surprising number of my outfits :) This is how you can carry an uberpopular bag and still be an individual -- just choose the most "you" color or pattern. Theoretically you could even illustrate your own solid-color Kasey with fabric markers, though I haven't tried that yet.
~ It's washable! All I do to keep my Kaseys looking and smelling great is zip them into a mesh lingerie bag and add to my color load of laundry. Then hang dry. They dry quickly!
The two metallics are my favorite of these 10 color options, but I've also been big into navy lately.
Wow! More than 2 dozen choices, including navy again in a cute quilted style. I'd wear this neon-striped black one with summer sundresses as well as cooler weather outfits.
