I have to say the I love the gray oversized top coat and the first faux fur coat. In your research, have you found that protestors are more respectful of faux fur, or are they just as likely to throw something at you as they did back in the day----when women wore real fur? Odd question perhaps, but I'd hate to buy a fur faux only to have it ruined by a protestor.
I currently have a wool coat (red) that I get a lot of compliments on. I have three coats actually---all in different colors. Hmmm. I think I may need another one.
