1 Program to Speed up Your Pc

Updated on February 2, 2015

How can just one program really speed up your Pc.

So how can just one program speed up your Personal Computer or laptop for free? Well quite simple really, it has all the power and utilities it needs to do the job and more. The program has even won awards and 5 stars from CNet.

Here is a small list of features it boasts:

  • 1 Click maintenance: Click this option to not only fix registry errors but you can also fix shortcuts, disk repair, tracks eraser, temporary files cleaner and a neat start up manager all in one click. Heck this even has a built in spyware remover

  • Windows boot time: and start up manager to speed up your boot time and keep your computer booting up faster than 30 seconds. Boot speed is linked to the Windows Registry so of course it has to be able to fix that too.

  • Registry Fix: Defrag, repair, backup and restore the windows registry to boost boot time and keep the computer running at optimal speed and making sure that the registry doesn't contain any error or bloating so there are no problems.

  • Defrag Hard drives: To optimize the programs and files, it can defrag the hard drive whilst using it or better yet when you boot the computer up so it can then access meta data that can't be used when the computer is already being used. Keeping the system running smoothly will also keep it fast.

  • File Splitter: Split files to an equal amount of MB, Great if you need to send files to a college or friend that's too big for your email provider.

  • Memory Optimiser: Monitor and optimise free memory in the back ground and find out what programs are using too much memory and if your not using them, can kill off the programs until they are needed.

This is a small list of what to expect from this one program, Now it has 20+ features to use and this little selection is probably what you will use every week. For me personally though i use these every week together but use utilities daily and my laptop has never lost speed.

Using an old or new Windows pc?

It does not matter what Windows Operating system you are using because this is compatible with Windows XP through to Windows 8.

Glary utilities has a beautiful User Interface (UI) that can be seen as both easy to use and with a click of the mouse, it is then better for a professional when you delve deep within the programs and seek out empty folders and also errors in the registry.

What else?

What else can you expect from Glary? Well they have a site called Filepuma.com that has a library of software on there to pick and download with news and tips and also features an update Detector built into Glary Utilities. so that is why I value this program on ANY computer because it does the job of many but in such a small size. Not only that but they also currently serve more than 40,000,000 customers. Right now it Scans and analyses your PC issues eight times faster and more thoroughly than before. so now is the time to download it and speed up your pc without those annoying pop ups that come with some other apps, this one is clean, lean and very mean on junk.

Cnet rated Glary utilities 5stars. I rate

5 stars for Glary Utilities

Auslogics Disk Defrag

Compact and fast defragmenter with over 11 million users worldwide. It will improve your PC's performance by de-fragmenting and re-arranging files on your disk. That then not only speeds your pc up but also puts the files you use the least at the back of your hard drive and the frequently used right at the front so you can then access them quicker too.

What does Disk Defrag Free do?

The problem: Your PC has slowed down and does not seem to run as efficiently as it used to. You find that doing simple, every day tasks such as opening files or programs seem to take noticeably longer for your PC to process or even start to open, leaving you staring at your idle screen waiting to act hoping that your pc hasn't froze. If you click multiple times you may open up more and that will take you longer right?

The solution: At a click of a button Auslogics Disk Defrag will swiftly defragment files on your hard drive. It will also optimize file placements and consolidate free space to ensure the highest data access speed possible. Perfect.

How to defrag the right way:

  1. Don't waste time, disk space and resources defragmenting junk: Use Glary Utilities to clean out all junk files, invalid Shortcuts and clean your pc before defragmenting.
  2. Large files broken up into large pieces have no ill effect on performance – set Disk Defrag to ignore large file fragments in Program Settings.
  3. Use the Defrag & Optimize mode once a week for smart file placement and set the program to move system files to the faster part of the disk for best effect. I usually do this every Wednesday due to that being my sort out day for my pc.
  4. For best results, launch defragmentation when you are done using your computer for the day - Simply set Disk Defrag to shut down PC after defrag. Then you do not notice that you are actually defragging your Computer and you can get on with your day to day life knowing your computer will be optimized for when you next use it.

Why not use the defragment program that comes included in windows?
